Change has come to America, but will it trickle down to the New York Knicks? In this daily downturn in which we live, Main Street and Madison Square Garden have something in common: they are important backbones of American culture enduring tough times. In this infant NBA season, the Knicks do have a winning record, 3-2, but what does their future hold? Well, just like in the positive sense that Obama was elected but knowing there are several years of rebuilding ahead, the Knicks too have a new leader, head coach Mike D'Antoni, but there is uncertainty as to when progress will be made.
I turned to a longtime Knicks' faithful, one of New York City's hottest rappers, Homeboy Sandman, to give me his thoughts — answering each question in a rap freestyle — on the state of the team.
