Cleveland Sports Animal:
I figured it would be at least a month or two after the NBA Finals ended that I would make another post pertaining to the Cleveland Cavaliers, but I just couldn’t resist when I heard the news of a possible trade for the Shaq Man.I’ve been back and forth with the notion of brining in the Diesel to the team in the last year of LeBron’s contract. In theory, it’s a great deal for the Cavs because all they would be giving up is the expiring contracts of Ben Wallace ($14 million) and Sasha Pavlovic ($4.95 million) and getting a better play in Shaq, who also has an expiring contract after the 2009-10 season ($20 million). This bodes well for the 2010-11 off-season in terms of having a little more cash to sign the King, but it just worries me that this will be Danny Ferry’s answer for next year. Sure, Shaq is a better post presence than Big Z or Ben Wallace, who both had their hands full with Dwight Howard in the Eastern Conference Finals, and I'm kind of curious to see what kind of look...
