As the 2013-2014 season begins to unveil, Derrick Rose looks more than ready to lead the Chicago Bulls to a Nba Championship. The Bulls don’t have a long list of stars but, they have quite a few complimentary players that can compete with any team on any level.
A former MVP and Rookie of the year, Derrick Rose looks alot bigger and more hungry then I’ve ever seen him before. When you think about the level of competition in the Eastern Conference Rose’s leadership and competitive energy will be needed this season, judging from their playoff exit against the Heat.
I expect Rose to finish very high in the MVP race and of course make the All-Star team, but we all know the goal is much higher than those things. Rose did average 25 ppg, 4 rpg and 8 apg before he suffered a brutal acl injury during the 2011-2012 season, causing him to miss the entire 2012-2013 season.
Meanwhile, Rose stated in a previous interview “I don’t care if its my mom on the court she’s going to get killed”. He’s arguably one of the best point guards in the NBA and when he retires he could potentially become a first ballot hall of famer.
