- As many of you heard, Curt Schilling has re-signed with the Boston Red Sox. However, this was not a simple contract. Although he is guaranteed $8 million dollars, his incentive structure has ability to earn him a lot more if he can keep his weight at an acceptable level. He will have regular weigh ins to ensure he is keeping a pre-determined weight. This clause could see him net an extra $2 million.
