Bulls-coach-thibodeau
Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau would not confirm reports Tuesday that Derrick Rose may be just a few weeks away from practicing , calling the All-Star point guard a “long ways away”. Rose, who was given a prognosis of 8-12 months of rehab after surgery on May 12, has recently been spotted running sprints in the Berto Center at the end of practices, which can only be a good thing. Though his schedule has been kept private, Thibodeau says, “He’s doing well”, and teammate Joakim Noah said, “He looks great.” at a charity event Monday.  According to ESPN Chicago:  Chicago Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said Tuesday that Derrick Rose is not close to being able to practice and wouldn’t commit to it happening before the new year.  “Who knows?” Thibodeau said after Tuesday’s shootaround. “He’s a long ways away from that, but he’s doing well. He’s doing well.” The 24-year-old Rose has been cutting on the knee and sprinting, and he’s been impressing his teammates. “I think he looks

Derrick Rose Sprinting At Practice

Derrick Rose was running sprints at the Bulls practice on Monday, and while he is still most likely out at least 2 more months, it’s nice to see him getting healthy: According to ESPN:  The 24-year-old point guard started cutting again on his surgically repaired left knee a few weeks ago and was sprinting in bursts after practice on Monday afternoon. ”I think he looks really...

Derrick Rose Sprinting, Progress Towards #TheReturn

Derrick Rose's return has been advertised through a sponsorship with Adidas, which resulted in several replays of Rose commercials of the commentator proclaiming the now infamous words "holding onto his knee, holding onto his knee and down". The commercials for "#thereturn" have stopped in the last week, but Derrick Rose is just getting started.Video footage...

DRose Puts Up Pre-Game Shots

The Derrick Rose tidbits are starting to become more and more frequent. Here he is Tuesday putting up some shots prior to the Bulls matchup with the Pacers:

Bulls G Hamilton could miss 2 weeks

Chicago Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau says veteran guard Richard Hamilton could miss two weeks because of a foot injury. Hamilton sustained a left plantar fascia tear in Saturday's game against Philadelphia and didn't play in Tuesday's loss to Indiana. Thibodeau said before Wednesday night's game against Cleveland that Hamilton, who is averaging 13.9 points, will probably...

Rip Hamilton Out Indefinitely

Without Derrick Rose for the first half of the season (at least), the Bulls have relied on a collective effort on the offensive end to make up for their leading scorer. While the new bench is still adjusting to Thibodeau’s system, the starters are relied on heavily – everyone but Kirk Hinrich is averaging in double figures scoring.  One of those bench members will have to step...

Cavaliers (4-14) vs. Bulls (8-8) - Game 19

The Bulls are, to put it simply, beating the...

Pacers-Bulls Preview

With each team's star player out because of a knee injury, the Chicago Bulls and Indiana Pacers have struggled to sustain consistent success. Box Score: Bulls 95, Cavaliers 85

Well, this was pretty much a standard Cavs vs Bulls game. That makes 10 straight losses to the Bulls and the Cavaliers were never truly in this game. Cleveland fell behind by 15 early in this one. They did make things interesting a bit midway through the 4th quarter, but the Bulls never really let this one get in doubt and as we’ve seen happen lately, the Cavaliers’ comeback...
