As a Clipper fan I take great pride in the fact that my once small market Clippers are finally capable of competing with the large market teams in the league, such as the Lakers and Heat. For the past three seasons the Clippers have been slowly and methodically building a roster with the potential to make a deep playoff run. The motto is simple: we have our superstars (Paul & Griffin), let’s fill in the gaps. And fill in the gaps they have, as during this offseason the Clippers signed a plethora of savvy veterans who will pave the way to a run at the NBA championship.
At least Sterling didn’t sit back this off season despite not having a General Manager
The key to the Clippers success this year will undoubtably be the play of their bench. Although the Clipper’s bench play was at best mediocre last year, improvements were a necessity. With only Eric Bledsoe and Trey Thompkins returning this year, the bench needed to be reloaded and strengthened. The Clippers not only succeeded in...

Now on to the short men, my love for the point guard started when I found out Muggsy Bogues was shorter than my dad (by 3 inches, but every inch counts.) I consider point guards to be the second most important player on my daily fantasy teams, what they don’t get in points they make up for in assists and steals. Another thing that draws me to the point guard is the amount of minutes...
The Clippers are deep. There's no getting around that. They have the makings of one of the top benches in the league which will be unveiled Wednesday night when they open the regular season against the Grizzlies at 7:30 p.m. on Prime Ticket.
The second unit could be one of the leagues most high powered attacks and there may not be a player providing more ammo than new addition...
In an interesting article by Yahoo! Sports, Chris Paul and Dwight Howard had plans on joining forces. They were teammates in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing and grew closer. Apparently, Chris Paul wanted Dwight Howard to come to New Orleans and play for the Hornets. On the other hand, Dwight Howard wanted Chris Paul to come to Orlando and play for the Magic. When they realized...
Last night in the association, the Los Angeles Clippers pulled out a victory over the Memphis Grizzies and reserve guard Jamal Crawford led the team in points with 29.
In the fourth quarter of the game, the score was tied at 83 and Crawford took matters into his own hands by pulling off a fake crossover which sent Grizzlies forward Rudy Gay to the ground.
Jamal then buried...
Chris Paul and Dwight Howard have discussed playing together since 2009.
I am sure you have seem this clip every where. Understand that we are in Day 2 of the NBA season and starved for clips to watch over and over again. No one has ever mistaken Rudy Gay for a defensive stopper, but it’s not like he’s J.J. Redick.
But Jamal Crawford sure made him look rather Redick-like when he hit him with a hesitation dribble.
The post Jamal Crawford hit Rudy Gay with a hesitation dribble that made him fall first appeared on No Guts, No Glory.
LOS ANGELES -- Lost in the hype of two other major Los Angeles arrivals -- with the Lakers' Dwight Howard and Steve Nash demanding most of the attention during the offseason -- Jamal Crawford's signing by the Los Angeles Clippers went largely unnoticed. Crawford found the spotlight Wednesday. The 32-year-old guard had a game-high 29 points, and the Clippers broke away...
Awards MVP: This award will probably come down to if voters are bored with voting Lebron. It could be a two horse race with Lebron and and Kevin Durant, although Chris Paul and Dwight Howard might have something to say about that. A few dark horse candidates for this award are Kevin Love and *gasp* James Harden [...]
