Kevin Durant scored 19 of his 31 points in the fourth quarter, Russell Westbrook had 35 including the go-ahead jumper with 1 minute left, and the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Dallas Mavericks 107-101 Sunday night. Durant was 3 of 9 from the floor before hitting seven shots in a row during one stretch in the fourth. Westbrook connected on a 17-footer to give the Thunder a 103-101 lead. With a chance to tie on the next possession, Durant forced Dallas into a shot-clock violation when he blocked Mike James' desperation jumper. Thabo Sefolosha hit a turnaround jumper over O.J. Mayo to stretch Oklahoma City's lead to 105-101. Dirk Nowitzki scored 23 points, including two free throws for the Mavericks to tie the score at 101 with 1:20 left. Dallas, however, didn't score after that.

Kevin Durant mutilates Vince Carter's ankles

Kevin Durant delivered a nastier version of the movie ‘SAW‘ on Sunday as he absolutely tore apart Vince Carter’s ankles piece-by-piece. Unfortunately, KD was unable to finish the step-back jumper or else this would be on the top of everyone’s highlight reel. It still amazes me how good KD’s handles are at 6′ 9″. For a good laugh you should check out Russ Westbrook’s...

Cuban: 'I'll boo' Derek Fisher

Magic rally inspiring, but still short against Thunder

The Magic never led in the second half against the Thunder on Friday night. You would be hard pressed to find a player hanging their head too low or a fan that was not excited about the effort the Magic put forth against the defending Western Conference champions. That is what happens when a 27-point first-half deficit is cut to four with about four minutes left in the fourth...

Thunder-Mavericks Preview

While the Oklahoma City Thunder have the NBA's third-best record and are playing well, they haven't exactly been dominant on the road. Kevin Durant's career night ensured Oklahoma City escaped with an overtime win in its last trip to Dallas, and the Thunder return there Sunday night trying to win their 10th straight - including the postseason - against the Mavericks...

Dallas Mavericks Still Four Games From Shaving; Oklahoma City Thunder Third Team to 50 Wins

The Dallas Mavericks have had a tough season, but as motivation many of them pledged not to shave until the team cracked .500 again. Being under that mark is something the veterans are not accustomed to hence the desire and urgency to get back above. Sunday they had a chance to get within two games of .500, but they would have to get through a very tough Oklahoma City Thunder...
