The Thunder announced the agreement. The Daily Oklahoman reported the deal is for just the 2011-12 season.
Mohammed was acquired in February in a trade with Charlotte and averaged 6.9 points and 4.8 rebounds in 24 games with Oklahoma City, primarily as a backup to Kendrick Perkins.
Mohammed, 33, is a 13-year veteran who has averaged 6.9 points and 5.4 rebounds in 771 games for Philadelphia, Atlanta, New York, San Antonio, Detroit, Charlotte and Oklahoma City. He won a championship with the Spurs in 2005.
