Most are aware Kevin Durant is a budding superstar. The 6 foot 9-inch forward of the Oklahoma City Thunder is a scoring phenom with a silky smooth jump shot that helped garner him an MVP award at this year’s All Star game. With an unquestioned will to win, the 23 year old is absolute in his championship goal.
Looking into the future, the increasingly vocal leader understands there’s more to be done with his Thunder squad. Or, as he says…
“There’s some games we lost that we should have won. But, all in all, it was decent.”
“We’ve got to keep working, keep improving. We can’t be happy with just being 27-7. There’s a lot of things we have to work on.”
Take the phrase… the best laid schemes of mice and men. Meaning: The most carefully prepared plan may go awry. In short, the Oklahoma City Thunder no matter how hard they work, will not win the championship in their current form.
