OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Kevin Durant scored 27 points, Kevin Martin added 24 and the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Indiana Pacers 104-93 on Sunday night for their eighth straight win.
A meeting of the NBA's highest-scoring offense and the league's stingiest defense went the way of the Thunder, who eclipsed 100 points for the 12th straight game.
Of course, Oklahoma City boasts the NBA's second-best defense to go with all that offensive firepower.
Russell Westbrook added 21 points and came up with a big block against 7-foot-2 center Roy Hibbert -- 11 inches taller than him -- during a late 8-0 burst by the Thunder that put it away after the Pacers had pulled within three.
David West led the way with 21 points for Indiana, which had all five of its starters score in double figures.

Think pageant hug at center court, but with less emotion. No enthusiasm. Almost like it was mandatory.
Then again, it's not like Kobe Bryant is going to embrace Kevin Durant or really much of anything Durant does these days.
Yet here they were, a game after Bryant surpassed 30,000...

According to Ric Bucher of CSN Bay Area, Oklahoma City Thunder players Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook wanted to prove Kobe Bryant wrong. Apparently, during the 2012 Olympics in London, Kobe Bryant was constantly talking so much smack towards the two Thunder players. Kobe was saying that Durant and Westbrook will not be able to get to the NBA Finals again after the Lakers...
Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant combined for their highest point total (69) of the season in the Thunders match up against the Lakers on Friday night. Now comes word that there was an additional motivation for those performances; Kobe Bryant’s Olympic smack talk. Allegedly last summer after the Lakers acquired Steve Nash and Dwight Howard, [...]
OKLAHOMA CITY There was a moment Sunday night in the Oklahoma City Thunder's 104-93 win over the Indiana Pacers that drilled right past the noise and clutter and hit at the very center of why this team has emerged as perhaps the best in the league.
With 5:39 left in the first quarter of what would be a grinding but well-executed game for both teams, Russell Westbrook exploded...
Two steps forward, two steps back...although you can't say the outcome of this game was unexpected. The Indiana Pacers dropped their second straight after losing 104-93 against the Oklahoma City Thunder, falling to 10-11 for the season.
To be honest it wasn't a horrible performance. For the majority of the game they were in the hunt and managed to keep Kevin Durant and...
