The Oklahoma City Thunder are starting to show improvement in one of the areas that has troubled them all season long: making better passes.
The Thunder finished the regular season with the worst numbers in both passing categories, recording the fewest assists while committing the most turnovers. All-Stars Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook ranked among the six players who committed the most turnovers in the league.
Over the past two months, though, Oklahoma City has improved in both areas - averaging about two more assists and one fewer turnover per game.
It was even better in a first-round sweep of the defending champion Mavericks, when the Thunder averaged 17.5 assists and only 12.8 turnovers.
