Oklahoma City Thunder reserve Lazar Hayward will make his return from an eye injury with the team's NBA developmental league affiliate in Tulsa.
The Thunder assigned Hayward to the Tulsa 66ers on Friday, and general manager Sam Presti announced that Hayward is expected to be in uniform for a game against Rio Grande Valley.
Hayward has missed the past six games after suffering an orbital floor fracture when he was poked in his left eye Feb. 17 in a game against Golden State.
Hayward has played in only 12 games since coming over to Oklahoma City in a preseason trade with Minnesota.

The Oklahoma City Thunder currently hold the NBA's best record this morning. They are now 29-7, a half game better than the Miami Heat, and they have won seven straight along with 9 of their last 10 overall.
