Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard went hard last night and dropped 29 points in their 98-90 victory over the Spurs. Old man Tim Duncan had the highlight of the night though. Early in the game Tony Parker found Duncan on a classic pick and roll and Duncan finished with a huge dunk over Nicolas Batum. Check out the jam below.

All-Star Game appearances are not what motivates Tim Duncan. The Spurs veteran says he doesn't care if he makes the team.
Tim Duncan didn't make the All-Star team for the first time in his career last season and he wasn't too disappointed either.
Instead of being disappointed at the fans and coaches not having him on the West roster, he got to spend All-Star weekend with his family. Duncan told Mike Monroe from MySA.com that he:
“I enjoyed it tremendously....I will not be campaigning...
OLD MAN HOPS
To be honest, it's been awhile since we've posted a Tim Duncan dunk on this fair website but you need to check out this dunk he had during Thursday night's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. Watch as the big fundamental throws it down on Trail Blazer forward Nicolas Batum:
The San Antonio Spurs may have lost last night to the Blazers but Tim Duncan sure left an impression on Nicolas Batum.
During the first quarter of last night's game, Tony Parker found Duncan off a pick-and-roll and Batum was just at the wrong place, at the wrong time.
Check out TD putting Batum on a poster. Hopefully Batum learned a valuable lesson... never get in TD...
The matchup of the game between the San Antonio Spurs and Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City will be between forward Tim Duncan and center Al Jefferson.
These two players play different positions but, as Spurs fans know, Duncan plays both big man roles depending on who is on the floor with him and opposing teams usually mix and match their big men against him.
This matchup is going...
The Portland Trail Blazers, now 9-12, have good news heading their way. Both Wesley Matthews and Nicolas Batum are making progress and could be returning to action soon. Mike Tokito of The Oregon Live reported that the team is hoping to have both Matthews and Batum back by Thursday when the Blazers take on the Spurs. Both players made individual comments about their progress.“My...
San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich has always joked around saying Tim Duncan accuses him of holding his game back for his entire career. In other words, TD can do more than simply play the post but Pop won't unleash him.
We have seen Duncan show off some three-point range (ask the Suns) and in last night's game versus Portland, he showed he can handle the ball...
The Spurs are beginning to give Tim Duncan and Tiago Splitter extended minutes together.
The San Antonio Spurs have always been thought of as that grind-it-out team. That team that methodically breaks down defenses with its passing and low post play. Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili have long been able to slither their way through defenses and Duncan was just a point guard in a post's body with the way he could break down defenses with his post moves and the pass. ...
The San Antonio Spurs have had a change of identity of sorts this season. They've had more controversies this season than any others put together during the Tim Duncan era.
They sent their main stars home for a nationally televised game and got fined, there was a photo that leaked with Tim Duncan and Tony Parker with a fake Joey Crawford, and most recently Stephen Jackson...
The San Antonio Spurs (19-6) erased a two-game slide versus the Boston Celtics (12-11) tonight in San Antonio 103-88 despite having Manu Ginobili suffering a left thigh contusion and Tim Duncan having an off game offensively shooting 2-13 from the field.
The Spurs were paced by Tony Parker with 22 points, 8 assists, 3 rebounds and 4 steals. Boston was led by Paul Pierce with...
The Portland Trail Blazers are in a much less enviable position than the San Antonio Spurs, though they played to the Southwest Division leaders' level in a tough loss last month.
Both teams may look different this time around.
Portland could be without Nicolas Batum and Wesley Matthews for a second straight game Thursday night when it hosts San Antonio, which is coming off...
