Pro Sports Daily:
Minnesota Timberwolves guard Ricky Rubio will sit out Tuesday night's game against Miami as he continues to work his way back from major knee surgery. Rubio saw his first action of the season Saturday night against Dallas when he came off the bench and contributed eight points, nine assists, four rebounds and three steals. He was scheduled to play Monday night against Orlando. The 22-year-old Rubio said Monday that team medical personnel won't allow him to play on consecutive nights yet. "I want to play, but I'm not cleared to play back to backs," Rubio told the St. Paul Pioneer Press. "I wish I could play in all the games more than 20 minutes, but I have to make sure my knee is OK before I start playing all those minutes."
BEST OF MAXIM
MINNEAPOLIS Ricky Rubio does not belong on paper.
That's where he's been imprisoned for months, though, relegated to reports and hearsay, reduced to "good" and "healthy" and "doing well." It's too flat, too colorless, too cut-and-dried. Rubio is the stuff of movement and noise. He's visceral, best experienced in a loud, adrenaline-charged...
Ricky Rubio came back last night against the Mavericks and had 9 assists in only 18 minutes. Tonight he played 16 minutes and had 4 assists. The above GIF shows a nice between the legs pass to Kevin Love for the three ball (which he missed), and the video below shows a great pass between a couple defenders to Kevin Love for the layup (that he got fouled on). So basically neither...
Minnesota Timberwolves guard Ricky Rubio made his season debut on Saturday night against the Dallas Mavericks. He didn't disappoint either. In 19 minutes, the slick-handling Rubio scored eight points and dished out nine assists, one of which came on this sweet between-the-legs pass (and between defender Elton Brand's legs also). Minnesota eventually went on to win, 114-106...
MINNEAPOLIS -- Ricky Rubio again proved that a player doesn't have to score dozens and dozens of points to be the most important player on the basketball court. After missing the final 25 games of last season and the first 20 games this season after undergoing knee surgery, Rubio returned to the Minnesota Timberwolves lineup Saturday night for the first time this season. While...
Ricky Rubio has finally made his long-awaited debut after sitting out for almost nine months because of a torn ACL. The Spanish point guard is sure to have an immediate impact for the Timberwolves.

Ricky Rubio made a triumphant return to the court with nine assists and eight points in 19 minutes, energizing the Minnesota Timberwolves in a 114-106 overtime victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night.
Andrei Kirilenko scored five of his 14 points in overtime while Rubio watched from the bench because of a minutes restriction on his surgically repaired left knee.
Even if he can't shoot, or stay healthy. The T-Wolves should just play "Sweet Georgia Brown" when he's on the floor...http://fivetooltool.blogspot.com - The Sports Blog That Loves You Back!
Every morning, we will give you five things from the night before in the NBA to start your day.
1: Hola, Ricky
Many NBA fans were gasping when they saw Ricky Rubio crumpled on the floor late in a game against the Lakers last February. It was one of those non-contact injuries where everyone who has watched sports just knew what it was.
All the fun was sucked...
It won't always be like that, the freaky-fun show in Minnesota on Saturday night, when Ricky Rubio returned to the Timberwolves' lineup as if he hadn't missed a day and the Timberwolves defeated the Mavericks, 114-106. The only vestige of the point guard's knee injury that remained was his minutes limit. Even so, with 8 points and 9 assists in 18 minutes, Rubio stole...
MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Timberwolves didn't let a fourth-quarter Dallas comeback ruin Ricky Rubio's return to action from knee surgery. After the Mavericks forced overtime in a game it looked like the Timberwolves would win easily Saturday night, Minnesota scored the first 10 points of overtime and defeated Dallas 114-106. Nikola Pekovic scored three of his team...
