Minnesota Timberwolves guard Ricky Rubio will sit out Tuesday night's game against Miami as he continues to work his way back from major knee surgery. Rubio saw his first action of the season Saturday night against Dallas when he came off the bench and contributed eight points, nine assists, four rebounds and three steals. He was scheduled to play Monday night against Orlando. The 22-year-old Rubio said Monday that team medical personnel won't allow him to play on consecutive nights yet. "I want to play, but I'm not cleared to play back to backs," Rubio told the St. Paul Pioneer Press. "I wish I could play in all the games more than 20 minutes, but I have to make sure my knee is OK before I start playing all those minutes."
