The Minnesota Timberwolves announced on Wednesday that guard Ricky Rubio has been cleared to participate in practice with no limitations. It its statement, the team said he was cleared after consultation with Dr. Richard Steadman in Vail, Colorado. It also said the Wolves' medical staff will determine his ability to participate in games after monitoring his progress. Team officials did not say when Rubio was expected to return to game action, but the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported it could be next week.
