Timberwolves unveil primary, secondary logos

Not only will the Wolves receive a facelift with a the selection of a touted rookie in tonight's NBA Draft, but it also will unveil a new, alternate logo. There's no question the design is fresh and the alternate logos are superb throwbacks. This is an excellent time for the up-and-coming franchise to change it's image. This from the TWolves blog: "The alternate logo pays "homage" to the franchise's original logo because the moon is depicted as a basketball. The team's main logo has been tweaked, and newly designed uniforms will be unveiled in August, two months before the Wolves open their 20th season."
