What do you expect from JR Smith this season?
Joe Caporoso - There is always reason for concern when it comes to the New York Knicks and injured players. I’m going to hope Smith is back to 100% at some point in the first half of the season but I’m going to assume we won’t see JR really be JR until after the All-Star break. The Knicks can probably tread water without him fully up to speed, especially if Iman Shumpert continues to grow and Tim Hardaway Jr can provide a handful of quality minutes every night. When Smith is back to himself, I’d expect similar production on both ends of the court to last year with maybe a slight dip in point per game average. The Knicks have a few more scoring options this season and their offense won’t have t...

Despite our inability to contain our excitement for October so we can watch Andrea Bargnani brick threes, this dead time is as good a time as ever to look back at last season. If you recall, it was the best we’ve seen the New York Knicks play in quite some time. Carmelo Anthony had an MVP-type season, J.R. Smith won a major individual award, and we rooted for Jason Kidd for one...

It’s quite common for fans or salesman to alter a team logo to make a profit. This typically goes unnoticed, although it violates copyright laws. The problems start to arise when everyone in town is trending the illegal activity, especially when it turns a professional team’s logo into a racial slur.
NBC New York reports that the shirt, sold at the store on 38th...

Acquired on July 10 in a trade with the Toronto Raptors, the 27-year-old Bargnani may not even be ready for training camp. Taken first overall by Toronto in 2006, the 7-foot, 256 pound Bargnani averaged 15.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 0.9 blocks...

The always colorful and controversial Metta World Peace promised he will have no problems fitting in quietly with the Knicks because he wants a ring and promised, “I’m going to fight for the city.’
“It’s easy when playing on a team to do exactly what the coach asks of you and do what it takes to win,’’ World Peace said yesterday on the new “Crowd Goes...

The support behind NBA players participating in international tournaments has always been a bit spotty. NBA owners and executives are usually a little wary of their employees playing in these tournaments because there is a risk of injury that doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the organization that pays them and there's often little to zero care from the NBA team...
