There are plenty of reasons to watch the NBA this year! The 2013-2014 season is a much anticipated one. Due to the free agency frenzy of the summer past and the rapid changes in the balances around the teams in the league, the fan interest is expected to be at the highest level this season. There are many different things for an NBA fan to watch during the 2013-2014 campaign. Let’s examine the top 10 reasons a fan has in order to watch the NBA. 1.    Will the Miami Heat achieve a three-peat? This is a burning question for every Heat fan but also for any NBA fan. The league is still divided between loving and hating LeBron James and his company. After the amazing finish of the 2013 playoffs and the NBA Finals, it will be intriguing to see if Miami can stay at the highest level for one more season 2.    Derrick Rose is back! This is certainly a reason to watch NBA games with high anticipation this season. After almost a year and a half of absence, the superstar point guard of the Chicago Bulls, Derrick Rose, is back and healthy. According to the latest reports, his leaping ability has increased during his off-time. Whoever likes to see devastating dunks, high flies and basketball acrobatics has one more reason to watch NBA, thanks to Rose! 3.    The emerging Indiana Pacers. Last season, Paul George, Roy Hibbert and the rest of the crew made a statement. They can seriously threaten the Miami Heat and win it all in the East. This season, with their star forward Danny Granger back from injury and a bunch of offseason acquisitions, they will have yet another chance 4.    Can Kobe Bryant still play at the highest level? After an Achilles injury and a treatment he received in Europe, Kobe wants to make a statement-comeback this season. At the age of 35, there are many questions about his ability to play at the highest level. They will be answered this season. 5.    Can the Oklahoma City Thunder make it to the top? Kevin Durant is one of the best players in the league. Russell Westbrook is one of the best point guards in the NBA. But can those two carry OKC all the way to the top? They will definitely be interesting to watch. 6.    This will be the one chance for the Brooklyn Nets to win a championship After a blockbuster deal that brought Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce to Brooklyn, the Nets are looking to dominate in the East this season. This might be their only chance under the current formation. 7.    Former superstars that might return from injury. Greg Oden and Andrew Bynum are just two of the former star players that might return from injury. Whether they get in condition to play or not, it will certainly be interesting to keep track of their condition and their possibility to return to the NBA. 8.    A bunch of rising stars entered the league. The 2013 NBA Draft was a quality one. There is a bunch of future stars that just entered the league and watching them grow as players will be fascinating. 9.    Rising teams! Teams like the Detroit Pistons, the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers possess several players that can make the difference and change the balances in the NBA the following years. This season will only be the start. 10.  Amazing things happen. Just like every other season, more, bigger and more amazing things will happen. They always do in the world of the NBA.
