Killer crossover drops LeBron James Jr.

Sure, we could go with a “Like father, like son” reference here, but I have no idea if the play in question when LeBron James, Jr. gets crossed up and dropped to the floor by an opponent’s killer crossover occurred during crunch time in the fourth quarter. (rim shot) LeBron, Jr, 7, who by all [...]

James outlasts Celtics in Heat's Game 2 win

MIAMI LeBron James played nearly 48 minutes Wednesday night against Boston, and finally arrived in the interview room at 12:50 a.m.Thursday morning. After being asked five questions, the Miami forward was ready to take some more. But none were asked. "You guys are tired, too, huh?" James cracked, and then headed out into the night. Before Jamesoutlasted all the reporters...

Video: LeBron James Taunts Kevin Garnett

The Miami Heat completed a convincing win over the Boston Celtics in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals Monday night. Miami beat Boston 93-79, after a breakout second half performance in which they led by as many as 13 in the 3rd quarter. Perhaps the most comical part of the game, however, was the [...]

Heat 93, Celtics 79

LeBron James scored 32 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, Dwyane Wade scored 10 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter and the Miami Heat beat the Boston Celtics 93-79 on Monday night in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals. Shane Battier, playing in the conference finals for the first time, scored 10 points and had 10 rebounds for the Heat, who wasted an early 11-point first-half...

Jason Terry makes fun of Lebron James headband (Video)

Previously on That NBA Lottery Pick, we featured a story about Lebron's new double headband. Well, it seems that Mavericks guard Jason Terry has taken note of it as well.Check out this snippet from a segment that TNT did about headbands where Jason Terry takes a shot at Lebron's big head:Below, here is the entire segment: (Courtesy of Rant Sports)

How Lebron did what he wanted in game one (with video proof)

What Lebron James did on Monday night against Boston was a long time coming.  Early in his years, Lebron ended up on the short end against Paul Pierce and the Boston Celtics.  Pierce was Lebron’s kryptonite during those Cleveland years, mainly why he bolted to Miami to join forces with other stars.  Except what we are finding out is that maybe Lebron could have done it himself...

Post game looks: Chris Bosh in peach pants and DWade with matching turquoise tie & finger wrap.

Dwyane Wade is the NBA’s fashion rock star. Calculated risk taker. Case in point, his light maroon suit, checked shirt complete with turquoise tie and matching finger wrap. That’s one of his signature style points. Athletes compete on the newest converted runways, the pre-game arrival and the post-game conference swag. LeBron embodies more of [...]

Celtics drop Game 1 to Heat, 93-79

For nine minutes, the Boston Celtics were vintage. Everything was working, points were coming in bunches, the Miami crowd was rendered quiet and a big deficit disappeared. It was about the only time all night things went Boston's way - and that wasn't enough to take down LeBron James and the Heat. James scored 32 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, Dwyane Wade scored 10 of...

Paul Pierce can't get caught up in battling LeBron anymore

May 18, 2008. Five years ago.  Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals.  LeBron James was 23 years-old, a year removed from an embarrassing Finals sweep at the hands of the San Antonio Spurs, and, at the time, believed to be on the cusp of leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to a championship.  Surely, people thought, the next logical step after losing...

A game of odds: Celtics stumble in 1st and 3rd quarters, lose to Heat 93-79

MIAMI -- There was a point Monday night when the Boston Celtics unexpectedly stood toe-to-toe with the Miami Heat in the opener of their best-of-seven Eastern Conference final series. And then the second quarter ended. Sluggish at the outset and seemingly exhausted by the third quarter, the Celtics fell 93-79 at AmericanAirlines Arena, unable to match the 32 points scored by...

Should the Celtics put Rondo on Wade?

Ok here's the situation: Last year Rajon Rondo was voted to the NBA All-Defensive 1st team (2nd only to Dwight Howard in overall votes). There wasn't a guard in the league considered a better defender than Rajon Rondo. This year Rondo was bumped down to the NBA All-Defensive 2nd team, partly because he missed games to injury and partly because Avery Bradley became known...

Heat prepared for Boston to play their best

MIAMI (AP) -- The Miami Heat know what's coming from the Boston Celtics. "Their all," Dwyane Wade said. That's what usually happens when one team is fighting to save its season -- and in this case, the Big Four era in Boston might be at stake as well. The Eastern Conference finals shift to Boston on Friday night for Game 3, with the Heat holding a 2-0 lead after...
