Lowry is a better pure scorer than Calderon and a better defender, but he is a score first point guard and with so many others capable of putting up big offensive numbers on this team, they need a pure distributor. Lowry had a solid 6.4 assists per game last season, in less than 30 minutes per game, but his minutes will rise considerably next season and his assists must too, so that this offense can properly thrive and they have proper ball movement.
