Year 2 of the rebuild has not gone as smoothly as Wizards fans would have hoped but this IS a rebuild. Simply put, if the Wizards don’t want to alienate the already sparse fan base, the roster has to undergo a major transformation and increase the toughness and basketball IQ of this team.
The players that the Wizards could use as trade bait have severely diminished their trade value this season with sloppy uninspired play. As much as it pains me that the Wizards once again have to give up players with potential, at least one of the ‘Knuckleheads’, Andray Blatche, Nick Young, JaVale McGee, and the newest member Jordan Crawford, have to go.
So with the trade deadline slowly approaching, here are some moves I would like to see the Wizards make:
First, Wizards fans need to give up any pipe dreams about Ernie Grunfeld bamboozling the Sacramento Kings for Demarcus Cousins. The Wiz don’t have enough enticing assets to offer the Kings to move their immensely talented yet troubled ...

JaVale McGee runs wrong way on offense (Video)
We've seen some pretty strange clips so far this 2012 NBA season but this play featuring Wizards center JaVale McGee might be one of the funniest. The Wizards played the Raptors last night and McGee in the second quarter misses a simple hook shot.Washington was able to retain possession but JaVale didn't realize that and ran down court:
Wizards’ John Wall selected for Rising Stars Challenge
The Wizards have seven players in their first or second NBA seasons on the 14-man roster, following the recent release of second-year big man Hamady Ndiaye. They will likely have three players in their first or second year in the starting lineup tonight against the New York Knicks. But only one of those players – John Wall – was recognized by NBA assistant coaches to participate...
Wizards waive Hamady Ndiaye
The Washington Wizards waived center Hamady Ndiaye, the team announced on Tuesday night. Recently called up from the Iowa Energy, the Wizards’ D-league affiliate, Ndiaye played in just three games this season and did not score.

Video: McGee's mental lapse sums up the Wizards' season
In case you don't know, the Washington Wizards are a mess. From Flip Saunders getting fired, to JaVale McGee showboating and subsequently getting benched, this team needs a complete overhaul.
Oh and speaking of McGee, he pulled another idiotic, yet hilarious, move on the court.
In a recent game against the Toronto Raptors, McGee got a wee bit confused after he missed a shot...
Wizards Update: Let’s only play the Raps and Cats
The Wizards have won five out of their first twenty games. That’s not very good. What’s most troublesome is that four of our five wins have come against two of the leagues worst teams: the Raptors and Bobcats.
Currently the Raps are 8-18 while the Bobcats are the only team in the league with a worse record than the Wiz at 3-21. So, to recap, the Wiz have gone 4...
JaVale McGee sprints…the wrong way
Those poor Washington Wizards. As if it wasn’t enough that Jeremy Lin made John Wall drop his jock on the floor. Wizards center JaVale McGee throws up a hook and sprints like a gazelle back to defense. So what’s the problem? The problem was the Wizards still had the ball. John Wall’s face as he looks back at McGee is priceless as they both star in the...
Video: Javale McGee Gets Confused
This is why Javale McGee is who he is. After missing a short runner, McGee hustles back on defense, lowering his head in frustration. Only one problem—the Wizards got the offensive rebound and were ready to re-start the offense. Too bad McGee had already run out of the picture. John Wall’s reaction is utterly priceless. Ahh, the Wizards!
Jeremy Lin and John Wall exchange dunks
Knicks, Wizards, wicked pixels, blah blah blah. You don’t really care about the game. You care about seeing a pair of third-quarter dunks in which Jeremy Lin and John Wall sort of dunked in the general vicinity of each other. First came Wall’s dunk, which is above. Then came Lin’s dunk, which is below. Got awfully loud after that dunk for a road arena.

Wizards Waive Hamady Ndiaye
Hamady Ndiaye appeared in three games for the Wizards this season.
Homecourt disadvantage?
The supposed comforts of home are often absent when the Wizards take the court at Verizon Center, where fans can purchase tickets on the black market for the price of a call from a pay phone, Andray Blatche gets booed every time he touches the ball, and large crowds only come out to support the opposing team.

Wizards Are Heartbroken
In any break-up, one of the two members of the couple is always seeking closure. If closure is not reached, one person is left with a nagging thought constantly running through his or her head. The Washington Wizards have had a tumultuous relationship with the NBA season, and in order to get back on track, they need to find their closure.
In the past 25 games, the Wizards have played...
