Trail Blazers signing Drew Eubanks to second 10-day contract

Over the past week-plus with the Portland Trail Blazers, Drew Eubanks has been getting the most playing time he's received over his NBA career. He secured his second double-double of the season on Sunday against the Denver Nuggets and has scored in double figures in back-to-back games for the first time since November.

Portland has apparently like what they've seen from the 25-year-old.

After going undrafted in 2018, Eubanks signed with the San Antonio Spurs and made his NBA debut in October of that year. In 148 games (15 starts) over three-plus seasons with the Spurs, Eubanks averaged 4.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 11.7 minutes per contest.

The Oregon St. product was traded to the Toronto Raptors along with Thaddeus Young and a 2022 second-round pick in exchange for Goran Dragic and a protected 2022 first-round pick. Eubanks was waived by Toronto later that day and signed his first 10-day deal with the Trail Blazers on Feb. 22.

In three games with Portland, Eubanks has registered 28 points and 23 rebounds in 67 minutes of play while shooting 12-for-17 from the field.
