Wolves can't withstand Durant, Westbrook

When Kevin Love hit a game-tying three-pointer with a second left in regulation, Kevin Durant smiled. Of all the things to do after your team has blown a lead, with the chances of winning before overtime as slim as any, to smile would seem like the least obvious choice. But Durant is a competitor, and this was a challenge. It was as if he knew what was to come, that he and his team...

Kevin Durant collected 28 points, nine rebounds and eight assists as the Oklahoma City Thunder made a statement in thumping the visiting Miami Heat 103-87.Serge Ibaka chipped in 19 points and 10 boards and James Harden added 19 points for the Thunder, who looked convincing in building up a big lead and then holding off the Heat in a possible NBA Finals preview. Kevin Durant does not know why people view LeBron James as the bad guy

Over the past few days, LeBron James has ripped off a streak of positive headlines in the media. Typically he is everyone’s favorite villain, but between showing his support for Trayvon Martin and defying Heat security so some military personnel could take pictures with the team, King James has come across as a pretty standup guy as of late. One player who probably isn’t surprised...

Those Who Saw OKC Beat The T-Wolves Witnessed History

I didn’t consider this until after the fact, but a Thunder/T-Wolves match up really does present a unique degree of potential for epic statistical feats.  Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook have already proven to be one of the most explosive tandems in the history of the game, and Kevin Love has a tendency to put together crazy numerical combinations from time to time.  Neither...

Kendrick Perkins dunks on Dwyane Wade and kicks him in the face (Video)

In Sunday night's NBA matchup between the Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder, Thunder center Kendrick Perkins dunked on Heat guard Dwyane Wade. While hanging from the rim, Perkins stuck his foot out and kicked Wade in the face, and there will be some debate as to whether Perkins kicked Wade by accident or did it on purpose. Wade was not happy and gave Perkins the death...

Comments from the other side - Heat/OKC bonus edition 3/25

I couldn't resist doing a bonus edition of CFTOS today since my second favorite team beat my second least favorite team.  Heat fans are such bandwagoners.  So much big talk and bragging in the beginning and so much hate on their own team at the end.  And, when all else fails,  blame the refs.  With all the love the Heat get from the refs,  I don't know how they have...

Video: Kendrick Perkins Almost Sets Dwyane Wade OFF
