Man, it seems nothing is going right for the Lakers as of late. As mentioned previously, the Lakers dropped the squad’s fourth-straight game on Tuesday, losing to the Houston Rockets. Now comes video of a somewhat unsettling occurrence during the same game. During a break in the action, perspiring point guard Steve Nash took a moment to dry himself off with a towel. Once he wiped his face, arms and armpits, Nash dished the towel to teammate Metta World Peace, who, unaware that Nash had just soaked up armpit sweat with the very same towel — or perhaps he did…MWP is an odd sort of fellow (sweat stank might not bother him — proceeded to use it…on his face. Ew. Nasty. Is there a towel shortage or something in NBA arenas? Can’t each player be afforded their own dry towel? So many questions. What I do know is that if had noticed Nash just tossed me a sweaty towel and it came anywhere near my face, I would react in a similar manner to how Kramer responded to Jerry tossing the face towel Cosmo was using to clean his slicer: Ha. Stellar Seinfeld reference. Still got it.
