Here’s how the 3-seed Timberwolves’ depth chart currently shakes out for their 2nd round playoff series vs the 2-seed Denver Nuggets, which is tied 2-2 entering Tuesday night’s game 5 matchup. Mike Conley made a surprise appearance on the Wolves injury report, early this afternoon. See more on that below.

Daishen Nix and Jaylen Clark (injured) were on two-way contracts, which means they cannot play in more than 45 regular season games this year and they were not eligible for the playoff roster. Luka Garza had his 2-way contract converted to a standard NBA contract before the end of the season, making him playoff eligible.

The Timberwolves were able to avoid the major injury bug this season, before Towns went down late. Rookie Jaylen Clark was the only Wolves player who’s been dealt a season-long injury, so far this season.

Chris Finch joined Paul Allen on KFAN Tuesday morning and didn’t mention any concerns about whether or not Mike Conley will be able to play tonight. Hopefully, he’s being listed more so to remain compliant with the league’s reporting policy, than it is to sound the alarm on a legitimate possibility that Conley won’t play.
