TEAMS: Atlanta Hawks
Atlanta Hawks legend Dominique Wilkins was dubbed “The Human Highlight Film” because of his endless SportsCenter-esque moments. Well, “The Ultimate Fighter 17″ contestant Uriah Hall (pictured) is submitting his résumé to steal the moniker. In two TUF tournament bouts, Hall has unleashed devastating finishes that have left his opponents unconscious on the canvas. Bubba McDaniel was his latest victim. While Tuesday’s knockout was vicious, it still doesn’t compare to his headhunting kick on Adam Cella in the tourney’s opening round. With last night’s KO, Hall advances to the semifinals to meet Dylan Andrews. Josh Samman fights Kelvin Gastelum on the other end of the brackets. Hall is the favorite to take the tournament and win a six-figure UFC contract. The middleweight is praying he won’t have to face anyone as nasty as UFC bantamweight queen Ronda Rousey en route to hoisting the trophy. Hall owns a 7-2 professional mark. None of the TUF fights count on his record, outside of the show’s finale if he appears in it. Please click the media player below to watch Hall’s latest highlight: Just in case you missed it, here is what Hall did to Cella:

Atlanta Hawks center Zaza Pachulia will miss the remainder of the season after having surgery to repair his sore right Achilles. Wednesday's surgery was performed by Dr. Robert Anderson at Mercy Hospital in Charlotte, N.C. The expected recovery time is approximately six months. The Hawks, who have already secured a spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs, have lost another...

Atlanta Hawks Drunken Lady Fan Brawl: Who Ya Got?

I’ve cued up this YouTube clip to the 1:30 mark so you can see a large (assumedly drunk) lady going HAM on a skinny (assumedly drunk) lady in the stands at an Atlanta Hawks game. It’s got everything you’d want from a fan fight … admonishment from security, forced toplessness and a cameraman turning into one of the hyenas from The Lion King. HOO HOO HOOOO HOO HOO HOOOOOOThat...

Three Hits: Knicks fly by Hawks in 4th quarter

Here are three observations from the Atlanta Hawks' 95-82 loss to the Eastern Conference's No. 2 seed, the New York Knicks, on Wednesday night: 1. Carmelo Anthony and J.R. Smith controlled the game from the tip. Anthony, who has been on a ridiculous tear during the Knicks' current 10-game winning streak, made the first basket of the game which was not a problem for...

76ers-Hawks Preview

With six games remaining, the Atlanta Hawks realize time is running out in their bid to secure home-court advantage in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. The Philadelphia 76ers are simply trying to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. The Hawks will try to stay within striking distance of the fourth spot in the East and push the visiting 76ers closer to elimination...

Before Tip-Off: New York Knicks @ Atlanta Hawks

WHO: Knicks (47-26) vs Hawks (42-33) WHEN: 7PM/ET on ESPN W2W4: Bravo Melo!  Dropping 50 points against any team is an elite and celebratory feat.  Critics may want to belittle it because LeBron James nor Dwyane Wade played, but I loved it even more for that exact reason.  The sight of James and Wade looking helpless and pissed while Melo went on a shooting spree, on their court...
