TORONTO -- The second 3-pointer of Al Jefferson's NBA career bounced tantalizingly before dropping through the rim. It was the start of something big for the Utah Jazz. Jefferson was 1-for-25 from beyond the arc in his nine-year career when he made a 3-pointer in the final seconds of regulation Monday to tie the game against the Toronto Raptors at 104-104, forcing overtime. After three overtimes, the Jazz came away with a 140-133 victory before 18,230 at Air Canada Centre. Utah (4-4) earned its first road win of the season, while Toronto (1-6) took its fourth loss in a row. "I knew we needed a 3, and I think Mo (Williams) wound up getting in trouble, he passed it to me, and I gave it to Randy (Foye), and Randy tried to draw the foul, and he just got it to me, and I just set my feet and let it go," Jefferson said. "Even though the ball wanted to tease me for a while, it finally dropped. I knew then if I hit a 3 to send it to overtime, we've got to go wi...
BEST OF MAXIM
Al Jefferson has been extremely productive in the NBA, and extremely under appreciated. He was a major part of the trade that sent Kevin Garnett to Boston, and has blossomed into a very good player since.
He’s the definition of a double-double. Between Minnesota and Utah, he has averaged around 20 points and 10 rebounds per game over the past few seasons. Unfortunately for him...
SALT LAKE CITY -- Utah Jazz center Al Jefferson finally enjoyed his breakout game of the 2012-13 season. While he battled a virus and has somewhat struggled to find his way in the new-look Jazz offense, Jefferson wasn't concerned. He had a season-high 27 points and 14 rebounds as the Utah Jazz held off the Phoenix Suns, 94-81, on Saturday night. According to Jefferson, there...
Jeff Green is back this season after missing all of last year with a heart condition. This wasn't a bad way to get his name back out there. Green had a huge slam dunk over Al Jefferson in the fourth quarter of the Celtics win over the Jazz tonight that turned a few eyes. Check out the dunk below and hopefully Mr. Green will have more to come.

Jeff Green destroyed Al Jefferson with a monstrous, soul-crushing dunk on Wednesday night in Boston.
The Boston Celtics forward took a pass in the corner and drove to the hole where he elevated from the middle of the paint and just slammed one down on the Jazz big man. Green then stared down Jefferson for good measure, receiving a technical foul for taunting.
Not only did his teammates...
Halfway through the fourth quarter of the Utah Jazz and Boston Celtics game, Jeff Green of the Celtics found some superhuman leaping abilities and applied them accordingly. Jeff drove down the lane and dunked over two defenders, but Al Jefferson was the one who ended up on a very life-sized poster. The dunk is an easy early season candidate for dunk of the year.

TORONTO -- Al Jefferson tied the game with a rare 3-pointer in the final seconds of regulation, and the Utah Jazz went on to defeat the Toronto Raptors 140-133 in triple overtime Monday before 18,230 at Air Canada Centre. Jefferson was 1-for-25 on 3-pointers in his career entering the game. Paul Millsap hit a 3-pointer to give Utah a 134-130 lead with 2:15 to play in the final...
The Utah Jazz didn't just work overtime to earn their first road win of the season. They worked three of them.
Paul Millsap scored seven of his 34 points in the third overtime, Al Jefferson had 24 points and 17 rebounds, and the Jazz beat the Toronto Raptors 140-133 Monday night.
''I can't say enough about how our team hung in there,'' Jazz coach Tyrone...
The Utah Jazz have some big decisions (pun intended) to make going forward, but the unmatched depth of their frontcourt continues to pay dividends for the time being. In Toronto, Paul Millsap, Al Jefferson, and Derrick Favors basically made all the plays throughout an exhilarating triple-overtime marathon that saw 277 total points get scored. The madness began when Jefferson knocked...

It was an unlikely hero in regulation that sent the game to overtime. And into the rabbit hole we went. Al Jefferson hit a 3-pointer that hit just about every part of the rim before falling in that sparked a triple overtime battle between the Raptors...
A four-game road trip for a team yet to win away from home doesn't seem ideal, but the Utah Jazz have reason to believe their jaunt will get started on a positive note.
Utah can avoid dropping to 0-5 as a visitor for the first time in 25 years by winning its seventh consecutive road meeting with the Toronto Raptors on Monday night.
The Jazz pulled away for a 94-81 win against...

I’m currently stuck in traffic (where else but the pike) heading to the Garden to see the Boston Celtics take on the Utah Jazz. The Celtics are coming off of their best game of the year, beating the Bulls in Chicago 101-95 Monday night. The Jazz are 4-4 and are coming off a thrilling 140-133 triple overtime game against the Raptors. Al Jefferson sent them into OT and double OT...
