MILWAUKEE -- All right stop, collaborate and listen. Saturday night, the Milwaukee Bucks brought Vanilla Ice and the 1990s back to the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Performing at halftime of Saturday's game between the Bucks and Thunder, Vanilla Ice played a three-song set starting with his remix of "Play that Funky Music" and continuing with "Ninja Rap" before concluding with his iconic hit "Ice, Ice Baby." "I'm totally an NBA fan," Vanilla Ice said prior to his performance. "I'm from Miami (home of A1A Beachfront Avenue), so I pull for the Heat, but I'm happy to be here and bring the heat tonight to the Milwaukee Bucks. "This is a great town. I love the Cheeseheads, I love everything about Wisconsin. I used to race jet skis back in the day here, I have lot of friends here." His performance marked the conclusion of Milwaukee's throwback to the '90s month. The Bucks wore their alternate uniforms from 1995-96 10 times over the course of the month. Vanilla Ice isn't performing much anymore, as his efforts have been focused on his reality television show "The Vanilla Ice Project." On the show that airs on the DIY network, he fixes and flips houses. The show is in its third season. Though he may have had just two top-five hits in his music career, Vanilla Ice is having fun being known as a symbol of 1990s hip-hop. "The greatest thing is that the music is timeless," he said. "I appreciate people who appreciate it. I'm having a great time out here. My TV show takes up a lot of time. When I do get out on the weekends and I get to enjoy myself with a little throwback, it's a lot of fun." When asked if he was a big Vanilla Ice fan in the Bucks locker room before the game, center Larry Sanders said his lasting memory of the rapper was Ices pet kangaroo going missing a few years back. While Sanders was answering the question, teammate Samuel Dalembert chimed in and started singing the famous riff of Ice, Ice Baby and Queen's "Under Pressure." These days, Vanilla Ices music is far from a brand new invention, but Saturday night proved the man can still light up a stage and wax a chump like a candle. Well, that first part at least. Not sure what the rest means and, really, it didn't matter to the thousands of Bucks fans, who like Dalembert sang along. Follow Andrew Gruman on Twitter.

Brandon Jennings called out his coach on Twitter

Brandon Jennings has made it quite clear the last few months that he isn’t really happy playing in Milwaukee. That follows the pattern for many high-profile players that have played with the Bucks, going all the way back to some guy named Lew Alcindor. Jennings frustrations continued last night after he disagreed with head coach Jim Boylan calling a timeout with 29 seconds left...

Brandon Jennings criticizes coach Jim Boylan for timeout call

Milwaukee Bucks guard Brandon Jennings has not been shy at all discussing his displeasure with the Bucks, or his potential departure from the team when he becomes a free agent this summer.  Jennings, who is as dangerous a player as we have in this game when he gets it going, took another opportunity to lash out on twitter at his current coach, Jim Boylan. During the Bucks 109-99...

Bucks’ Brandon Jennings calls out coach on Twitter

Bucks point guard Brandon Jennings took to Twitter after the team’s loss to the Thunder, questioning his coach Jim Boylan’s late-game timeout. Of course, he deleted it soon after, but Sean Highkin of USA TODAY Sports has an image of it: Highkin writes: Jennings has made no secret of his unhappiness with the Bucks in recent months. As far back as last year, he was looking...

Vanilla Ice performs at Bucks' '90s Night'

I can’t decide if this is the worst or best idea ever. The Milwaukee Bucks had 90′s night this weekend and they also booked a certain Vanilla Ice to perform. The result was just as good as the terrible video quality. [The Big Lead] Article found on: Next Impulse Sports

The Star Of ‘The Vanilla Ice Project’ Performed At The Milwaukee Bucks Game

It isn’t much of a big deal when rapper-turned-house-flipper Vanilla Ice shows up to perform at halftime for NBA games, because the artist otherwise known as Rob Van Winkle has done it before. But nevertheless I like it when he does, because it gives me a chance to complain about one of my guiltiest pleasures, The Vanilla Ice Project on DIY, thanks to the loosest of ties to sports...

Bucks must continue home streak vs. Bobcats

If they hope to make a run at seventh place in the Eastern Conference, the Milwaukee Bucks really need to take care of business against the NBA-worst Charlotte Bobcats. The Bucks will try to win for only the fourth time in 12 games and beat the Bobcats for the 10th straight time in Milwaukee on Monday night. While they have a 5-12-game lead over ninth-place Philadelphia, the Bucks...

Bango helps returning soldier surprise kids

MILWAUKEE -- U.S. Army SPC Nicholas Neumuth hadn't seen his kids since May 2012. So upon returning from a nine-month tour of duty in Afghanistan, Neumuth thought he'd make the return from his first overseas deployment since joining the Army nearly two years ago a memorable one. During the first timeout in Saturday's game between the Milwaukee Bucks and Oklahoma City...

Bucks will be challenged by Thunder offense

No team has allowed fewer opposing players to reach 30 points than the Milwaukee Bucks, and Kevin Durant's third-lowest career average is against them. The Bucks and Durant's Oklahoma City Thunder also lead the NBA in blocks as they meet for the first time Saturday night in Milwaukee. Only six times has a player scored 30 in a game this season against Milwaukee (35-36)...

Bucks Mascot Bango Startles Dwight Howard (Video)

Anyone else wondering why the Milwaukee Bucks’ mascot isn’t a buck? Yea me neither. Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard had an embarrassing moment before his team’s 113-103 loss to the Bucks last night. When entering the BMO Harris Bradley Center, Milwaukee’s mascot Bango, gave Howard the scare. Check the video out here: H/T to Pro Basketball Talk for the video.
