The Cleveland Cavaliers stunned the Phoenix Suns last night as Anderson Varejao and Cavs rookie Kyrie Irving had huge nights. The team work between Varejao and Irving continues to impress. Irving had 26 points last night and the big story is the play of Varejo. The Wild thing was all over the court last night. Anderson had 17 rebounds,8 points and one assist.
Varejao is starting to get a handle on playing defense. The hustle Anderson is showing has to be because he is inspired by the play of Kyrie. Irving had one of his best nights as a Cleveland Cavaliers so far. Coming off the bench Daniel Booby Gibsin added 10 points to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers over the Phoenix Suns last night 101-90.
Cleveland takes on the L.A. Lakers tonight. This will be a great test for this young Cavaliers team. This will be the First time former Cavaliers coach Mike Brown faces his former Cleveland Cavaliers team.
With this latest win the Cleveland Cavaliers got back to .500 at 5-5 on the season.
