Found December 11, 2013 on Bush League Chronicle:
PLAYERS: Derrick Rose
TEAMS: Chicago Bulls
This was supposed the year for the Chicago Bulls. With the return of star point guard Derrick Rose leading the charge, the Bulls were expected to make a serious run at the title. However, those aspirations already seem to be lost, as Rose has succumb to yet another crippling injury, and the likelihood of keeping the current roster together past this season looks bleak. Thus, spawning the idea of making a parody of a Charlie Brown Christmas tune to a new song titled "Tanking Time is Here." It is a strangely clever play on the misfortune of the Bulls.Via Pro Basketball Talk

WATCH: Father saves daughter from being drilled by a Bulls player

I know that this father is just doing what he should be doing, but he definitely deserves recognition for protecting his daughter from a very large Bulls player in Tony Snell during their matchup with the Knicks on Wednesday night. Awesome stuff. The Knicks went on to win 83-78. [Reddit] More Articles You May Enjoy… Ranking the Best Sports Movie Endings Ever Christmas Movie Sports...

Kirk Hinrich Is Sad After Miscommunication With Mike Dunleavy (Video)

Kirk Hinrich and the Bulls, down by as many as 23 points, were having a rough game against the Knicks up until the fourth quarter, so Kirk was understandably upset when he and Mike Dunleavy had a miscommunication on a pass, but his reaction made for one hilarious GIF. The post Kirk Hinrich Is Sad After Miscommunication With Mike Dunleavy (Video) appeared first on Beyond The Buzzer.

Last year as Derrick Rose sat out with a torn ACL his fans waited, when he was cleared for play by team doctors his fans waited, as the playoffs came nearer his fans waited and as the undermanned Bulls went on one of the most exciting, yet short lived playoff runs in recent memory the fans waited. Derrick Rose never addressed the situation or spoke on his return. We were...

The Chicago Bulls will sign D.J. Augustin after he clears waivers as the club searches for point guard depth. Augustin also needs to pass a physical with the Bulls. Derrick Rose is out for the season, while Mike James is working his way back from a sprained knee. Marquis Teague has struggled for the Bulls.

Video: A Great Dad Saved His Daughter From A Flying Tony Snell

Being a father comes with a million responsibilities. Some are obvious, such as putting food on the table, making sure your kids behave, brush their teeth, etc. Nowhere in the book on being a dad does it say that at all costs you must make sure that Tony Snell does not fly into your daughter (you can check every book). When Tony Snell, a rookie for the Chicago Bulls, dove headfirst...

NBA Power Rankings: Week 6

This week, you’ll find that a few Eastern Conference teams are moving their way up the rankings. A couple Western Conference teams have slid down after having a rough past week or so. Although the West is clearly the Superior conference, the scales are balancing a bit. I, somewhat, view the East and West as two different leagues in the regular season. Who each team has competed...

Chicago Bulls tanking song done in the style of “Charlie Brown Christmas”

Since we are officially getting into the holiday spirit here at That NBA Lottery Pick, I figured a nice Christmas song would get you readers ready to spread good cheer to others. One intrepid Chicago Bulls fan decided to help create a special tanking song for his favorite team and decided to do it in the style of Charlie Brown Christmas. Below is the song called “Tanking Time Is...

Bulls' Joakim Noah aggravates thigh injury in shootaround

No sports team is immune to injury, and the Chicago Bulls have had to deal with injuries to nearly all of their regular starting five. Head coach Tom Thibodeau has done a fine job working around the bug that has plagued his lineup, keeping his team in the playoff hunt, though with the last spot in the Eastern Conference, and with an 8-11 record. The most recent injury to hit the Bulls...

Noah back, Deng out for Bulls; Knicks' Felton sits

Joakim Noah is back in the Chicago Bulls' lineup after missing a game with a bruised right thigh, while the Knicks' Raymond Felton was out for the first of possibly a few games with a sore left hamstring. The Bulls were still without Luol Deng. He missed Wednesday night's game because of a sore left Achilles. Knicks coach Mike Woodson said Felton's absence could...

Does the Chicago Bulls 2013-14 Season Need a Toe Tag?

Was losing to the Utah Jazz the low point of the Chicago Bulls’ season?  How about losing to the Pistons at home for the first time since 2006?  Maybe last night’s loss to the Bucks, who prior to the game had a 4-16 record, was rock bottom.  I suggest the Bulls start selling t-shirts to their fans that say, “I survived the 2013-14 Bulls season.” I appreciate that Kirk...

Bulls to sign D.J. Augustin

The Chicago Bulls will sign point guard D.J. Augustin after he cleared waivers on Wednesday, league sources told Yahoo Sports. Augustin needs to pass a physical with the Bulls on Thursday. He was waived by the Toronto Raptors on Monday. The Bulls lost superstar point guard Derrick Rose for the season, and have been searching for further depth at the position with backup guard Mike...

Bulls-Knicks Preview

Few teams have been more disappointing than the New York Knicks and Chicago Bulls. The rough start could have much more dire consequences for the Knicks, however, with coach Mike Woodson's job possibly hanging in the balance. New York will try to end a six-game skid against Chicago on Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden. The Knicks figured to be an Eastern Conference contender...

A case for the Chicago Bulls to stand pat this season

In the immediate aftermath of Chicago Bulls star point guard Derrick Rose’s season-ending right knee injury, we advocated that the team conduct a fire sale of all players except Rose and youngsters Jimmy Butler, Tony Snell and Marquis Teague. In return, we hoped, veterans on the squad would fetch young assets and/or draft picks and expiring contracts. The plan was predicated on...

Potential NBA Trade Deadline Deals

With a quarter of the season already gone, we all have a pretty good idea of where each team is headed in the future. LeBron’s Heattles look like a two time champion, but Paul George and the Pacers look like they can challenge them. The Bulls are missing Derrick Rose, again. The Clippers and Nets [...]
