Found November 14, 2012 on Project Spurs:
It was a close game throughout the San Antonio Spurs-Los Angeles Lakers game last night. Both teams made their run and the lead flopped back-and-forth in favor of the other. Heading into waning moments of the game with 13 seconds left, the Spurs drew up a play for Danny Green to nail the game-winning shot and hand the Lakers another loss. Check it out. Interesting to note that Green has now made at least one three-point shot in 26 regular season games dating back to last season.

Spurs don't need to change a thing

The Spurs aren't immune to making coaching changes early in seasons, not that anyone really remembers or notices. It's just the thought of San Antonio canning a coach now seems as foreign as the Spurs' internationally-laden roster. The NBA's ultimate model of consistency and stability doesn't do rash. The Spurs stay the course, cranking out essentially the same...

On crutches, Mike D'Antoni takes over the Lakers

Although Mike D'Antoni is still on crutches after his recent knee surgery, he's already at work with the Los Angeles Lakers. D'Antoni coached his first practice with his new team Thursday, four days after the Lakers hired him to replace Mike Brown. The former Knicks and Suns coach had knee replacement surgery earlier this month, delaying his arrival to take over the...

Steve Nash Talks About His Friend, Mike D’Antoni

Nash is super excited to have Coach D’Antoni on his squad again. Kobe Bryant presents Mission: Kobe Bryant- a 5-part series on homelessness in LA

“Skid Row is literally a few blocks away [from the Staples Center], but it’s not something that really registers, it’s something that you kind of look over, because homelessness has been a part of our culture for so many years, it’s just something that kind of fades in the background without you really driving [...]

D'Antoni expects to put Lakers in title hunt

New Los Angeles Lakers coach Mike D'Antoni said he will be a failure at the Staples Center if he doesn’t put his new team in the title hunt. "I'm going to do everything I can do to win a championship," D'Antoni told KSPN-AM 710 on Tuesday. "If we're not at least in the hunt, a serious hunt, then I've failed as a head coach. I'm comfortable...

Video: Davis Bertans with the reverse slam

LOS ANGELES -- There is BC and there is AD, but is there BD'A? In a state of flux between former head coach Mike Brown and future head coach Mike D'Antoni, the Los Angeles Lakers could not send interim head coach Bernie Bickerstaff off on a high note. If, in fact, Bickerstaff coached his last game for Los Angeles. The San Antonio Spurs won a back-and-forth battle with...
