Finally the San Antonio Spurs were able to get their first road win of the season by defeating the Orlando Magic last night 85-83 in overtime.
It was a balanced attack with Tim Duncan looking as if he discovered the fountain of youth (17 points, 10 rebounds), Tony Parker steadying the Spurs (25 points) and Richard Jefferson shaking off his recent mini-slump (11 points).
But did YouTube sensation Jenna Marbles have some effect on the Spurs pulling out the victory? Maybe, if RJ had anything to do with it.
After the Spurs recent win at home over the Phoenix Suns, RJ stated he would show videos of Jenna Marbles to the squad to loosen them up on the road because, according to him, she has been the team's inspiration at home.
Listen to what RJ had to say (via woai.com) about her (last 30 seconds of video).
Now I don't know about you but it sounds like RJ might be simply promoting (and obviously joking) Marbles and her videos because I highly doubt some Internet personality had anything to do with the Spurs' dominance at the AT&T Center or with the road win over the Magic. But then again, RJ is a single guy and well, you know, might be doing Marbles a nice favor. Then again, if these YouTube videos do produce more wins for San Antonio, then keep them coming RJ!

Tony Parker scores 25 points, including 16 in fourth and overtime leading Spurs over Orlando.
It was well chronicled on this site that Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert was in San Antonio this off season training with several San Antonio Spurs players, most notably greatest power forward of all time Tim Duncan. As it turns out, the mentor-ship between Duncan and Hibbert didn't stop when the season started. According to our friends at Indy Cornrows, Duncan has been helping...
There is at least one thing the San Antonio Spurs players and NBA fans have apparently agreed upon and that's that the Spurs are a team first organization. I say this because despite their early season success, no Spur is ranked higher than seventh in the latest returns in All-Star voting.
Spurs.com released the latest returns Thursday and it had Tim Duncan seventh in forward...
Monday afternoon, Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard spoke with New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony about his future and the stress of being a superstar player in flux.
Anthony gave him some sound advice, Howard said, telling the three-time reigning defensive player of the year to "do what's best for you" and to "live for you" when he chooses his next...

If you watch enough basketball, you know all the various ways a player or coach can earn a technical foul. Swearing at an official or starting a fight with an opponent are two of the more popular approaches. If you watched carefully at roughly the 5-second mark of the video above, you will learn of a new way an NBA player can inspire a referee to slap him with a tech.
The Magic wrap up a back-to-back-to-back trying to become the second team to sweep the three-game sets. The trio of games ends with Orlando hosting San Antonio, the standard bearer of the small-market franchises. The Spurs are still one of the best teams in the league, entering the game at 9-5 and tops in the Southwest Division. Even after a surprising and, somewhat humiliating,...
Big Baby, also known as Glen Davis, is having a rough start to the year with the Orlando Magic and things didn’t get any easier tonight. Big Baby got almost dunked on by Richard Jefferson and reacted in a very odd manner. He continued to rush the referee and pull down his shorts in front of him. Lucky for us, Big Baby had some spandex on, but it is still slightly disturbing. He...
