(Cuban to Bayless): "You don't ever use facts, you don't ever use substance." "First of all, you have the presumption that people care what you say. They don't."
After Cuban was done tearing Bayless apart he tells Stephen A. that Cuban's 2 year old could break down NBA tape just as well as ESPN's experts.
Never met Cuban's 2 year old, but he's probably right.

Dallas Mavericks’ owner Mark Cuban made an appearance on ESPN’s ‘First Take’ and was absolutely on fire, and Skip Bayless was on the receiving end of the flame thrower. Cuban called out Skip Bayless for his sports reporting over the past year, especially in reference to LeBron James. You can watch the entire back-and-forth below, but my favorite quote came from Cuban...
Dear Mark Cuban: Thank you. Basketball observers got to witness ESPN First Take's Skip Bayless get schooled on his own show by Cuban on Friday. The Dallas Mavericks owner ripped into sportswriters' tendency to focus too often on generalities -- something even this writer occasionally is guilty of -- but reserved his most pointed remarks for Bayless' own inanity about...
Did anyone else watch the video Jerod posted of Mark Cuban obliterating Skip Bayless Friday morning on ESPN2?
I abhor Skip Bayless and his idiotic rants that seem to, as Cuban noted, include no stats or facts but just generalities.
Cubes also tore into Bayless for saying the Thunder didn’t want it as much as the Heat and that Kevin Durant didn’t play hard enough.
Mr. Cuban commands you to shut up
This hasn’t been a secret. I thoroughly dislike Skip Bayless (because my mother taught me not to “hate.”). Thoroughly dislike. That said, I somewhat understand that he’s been engineered to fit with and cater to the seedy underbelly of what “we” fans supposedly respond to in this day and age. Still, he’s intolerable. Insufferable....
You may remember yesterday we told you about Skip Bayless and First Take ducking an appearance by Miami native Luther Campbell. Included in that piece was this tweet from Skip Bayless lobbed at Mark Cuban to come debate him on television with some nonsense added about being a real man or whatever...
I'm told @mcuban taking Twitter shots at me. Mark, you're welcome to...
I’ve said many times before that I don’t waste my time watching “First Take.” I never have, and I never will. I have no interest in being agitated by someone whose job is to say the most outrageous things possible in order to upset his audience and get a reaction, especially when everything he says is horse manure.
But I realize many of you love to hate him, so with that...
In the shock of the day, there was actually something on ESPN today that was not a live sporting event or a 30 for 30 documentary that was worth watching. Even more shocking, it involved Skip Bayless.
Of course, the only video involving Bayless worth watching is when someone who can speak with intelligence about sports takes Bayless to the sports debate woodshed.
That is exactly...
Video: Cuban Makes Bayless Look Clueless.
Mark Cuban was invited to visit First Take with Skip Bayless to debate sports writers/media and their “generalities” when criticizing athletes and in particular Skip’s favorite whipping horse: LeBron James. Cuban makes absolute sense: First of all, it’s a team game, right? You guys [media] like to speak in complete generalities where no one can [...]
Skip Bayless is probably the most hated member of the sports media business, as he always makes the dumbest rants and makes a complete fool of himself. He goes after LeBron James in almost every episode and praises Tim Tebow.
Bayless got a piece of his own medicine on First Take, as Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban completely destroys him in a debate that makes Bayless look like...
Cosby Sweaters put this up, it's trending, good enough. Mark Cuban 86s Skip Bayless.

It’s been a long time coming for Skip Bayless, and Mark Cuban finally stepped up to the plate and knocked Skip’s ego right out of the park. This is my kind of debate; the one where Skip does a minimal amount of talking while getting trashed by a highly intelligent and competent person.
ESPN’s First Take has become one of the tent-pole programs of the network’s line up. Skip Bayless is often times considered to be purposely rocking the boat just to get viewers to tune in. Skip’s narrative on LeBron James calling him things like Prince James and the ringless king have at times felt more like [...]
Earlier today, ESPN First Take invited Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban to debate with Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith.
What they didn't expect was that Mr. Cuban would use this opportunity as a sounding board to rip Skip for his lack of facts when providing arguments and the nature of today's sports media:
