Without Tim Duncan or Manu Ginobili, Tony Parker was going to be the lone star for the San Antonio Spurs and he didn't disappoint against the Atlanta Hawks. Parker had a brief moment where he saw no one protecting the rim and didn't think twice about driving for a strong layup for a three point play. Tiago Splitter also sets a great pick to bump the defender out of the way for a brief second, enough time for Parker to accelerate for a layup. You can see check out the video below.

Video: Parker's tricky 'and 1' vs. Warriors

The Warriors put up a fight for most of the game but the San Antonio Spurs were able to get another home win (15 straight home wins), 95-88. Tony Parker finished with 25 points and 8 assists including this nifty "and 1" on Golden State in the third quarter. Check out TP doing some havoc on the Warriors last night as he connects on a basket after the harm.

Duncan says Spurs need to improve on road

Don't think the San Antonio Spurs' 31-11 (third in the Western Conference) is pleasing enough for them, especially for Tim Duncan. They're 18-2 home record is impressive, but they've been here before. They've played well at home in recent years and they've still gotten eliminated early on in the playoffs. Duncan is also looking at the other side of the...

Matt Bonner added 17 points, and Kawhi Leonard and Tiago Splitter each had 14 for the Spurs. The Hawks announced about 90 minutes before the game that guard Lou Williams faces season-ending surgery for a torn ACL...

Duncan, Spurs overtake Sixers

PHILADELPHIA -- Tim Duncan is noticeably lighter this year -- he won't say how much -- but he is still fully capable of shouldering the load for the San Antonio Spurs. The veteran forward contributed 24 points, 17 rebounds and five assists -- not to mention the go-ahead basket with 1:43 left -- as the Spurs erased a seven-point deficit in the final 3:47 to nip the Philadelphia...

Spurs-Hawks Preview

Already struggling to win on the road, the San Antonio Spurs are set to embark on a brief trip without Manu Ginobili. If last season's matchup with Atlanta and Tony Parker's recent performances there are any indication, the Spurs might overcome Ginobili's absence when they visit the potentially short-handed Hawks on Saturday night. San Antonio (31-11) has won 12 of...

Spurs 90, 76ers 85

Tony Parker added 20 points and Kawhi Leonard had 16 for the Spurs (33-11), who scored 15 of the game's last 18 points en route to their fifth straight victory. Evan Turner had 18...

Duncan, Spurs survive 76ers comeback with 15-3 closing run

Monday was an odd night in Philadelphia. The visiting San Antonio Spurs had a lead of 17 points at once in the first 24 minutes and were shooting 50% on the road. The home team, the 76ers, looked like they were going to get blown out of their own building. Then the teams switched identities in second half. The Spurs were outscored in the third quarter and Philadelphia came out...

Matchup of the Game: Spurs vs. Warriors

Tim Duncan and David Lee will be the matchup for tonight's game between the San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors. Duncan is coming off another impressive performance against the Memphis Grizzlies. He had 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 blocks and helped carry San Antonio to a win. The Warriors will be tested with Stephen Curry's recent ankle injury so the Warriors...

Spurs-76ers Preview

Even without two of their stars, the San Antonio Spurs took a big step toward putting their road struggles behind them. After losing seven of nine away from home, the Spurs try to make it two straight road victories and sweep the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night. With Tim Duncan given the night off and Manu Ginobili out with a hamstring injury, San Antonio (32-11) won its fourth...
