The San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Clippers are set to play Game 1 in the Western Conference semi-finals tomorrow night in San Antonio and most of the focus will be on the Tony Parker and Chris Paul point guard matchup.
Both are considered two of the best point guard in the league and both finished in the top-five in this year's NBA MVP voting with Paul finishing above Parker.
However, TP is down playing the matchup and focusing on what really matters - the team.
Parker says it's going to be a good matchup, but check out what else he had to say about facing CP3 and the Clippers tomorrow night and much more (via woai.com).

Fans these days with all that new fancy technology have gotten more creative with their signs mocking opposing NBA players. However, it looks like that the Los Angeles Clippers got the last laugh when they took a Memphis fan's sign mocking Chris Paul. The below picture was taken in the Clippers locker room after their game seven victory over the Grizzlies and shows Blake Griffin...
Four years ago today, the San Antonio Spurs and the New Orleans Hornets were in the middle of a seven game series that was both entertaining and not. Only one of their 2008 Western Conference Semifinal series was decided by less than ten points and more were decided by closer than 21 points with the home team winning every game except Game Seven, which the Spurs won in New Orleans...
The Clippers sent the Grizzlies home this afternoon, winning game 7 - 82-72 in Memphis. During the post game celebration, Blake Griffin was photographed holding up a "baby" Chris Paul sign - sucking on a Clippers binkie! So awesome. If they win the next round, I bet they have a fat head of him in a diaper full of number 2.
How did the Clippers celebrate winning game 7 against the Memphis Grizzlies on their home court? With a discarded Chris Paul-pacifier sign some fan threw on the court! The Clippers bench was incredible, so good in fact that down the stretch, Blake Griffin was on the bench because Kenyon Martin was so locked in. Of [...]

Most people seem to believe the Spurs have a big advantage in their Western Conference semifinal matchup with the Clippers. After all, they're the well-rested team with championship experience. The Clips are supposedly too young and too banged up to win this series.
I think the opposite may be true.
To me, the tough, physical, grueling seven-game series that Los Angeles just...
The Los Angeles Clippers were finally able to finish off the Memphis Grizzlies in seven games. Their reward for coming out of that slug fest? They get to play the well-rested San Antonio Spurs. The fact that it took the Clippers three chances to finish off the Grizzlies is going to be huge for the Spurs. Games 5-7 were grueling, not to mention the fact that Chris Paul and Blake...
The Spurs and Clippers both had different routes to the second round, as the Spurs easily dispatched the Jazz in four games while the Clippers were taken to seven games by the Grizzlies. The Spurs have been off for over a week, while the Clippers won their series on Sunday.
Long periods of rest for a team are often considered to be bad, as a team can be rusty when they come back...
Make no mistake, despite all the "Lob City" monikers, and all the hype surrounding Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, the essence of this Clippers team is essentially mental and physical toughness. The Clippers couldn't find a way to seal the deal in game 6 and were clearly determined to not have a repeat of the same fate today.
What the Clippers did was out...
MEMPHIS For everything that's been said about the way these Clippers are built sending away a likely future star in Eric Gordon for the current All-Star Chris Paul, and bringing along the high-flying sensation that is Blake Griffin it was, of all things, their bench play on Sunday afternoon, and really throughout the series, that captured...
