My Sports Rumors:
As I said in the last post I went to the New York Knicks game in Philly tonight and J.R. Smith had the play of the game. While that may be so no player electrified the crowd then Philly native Rasheed Wallace. EVERY time Sheed touched the ball the crowd would start to chant SHEEEEED and every time he hoisted a three you’d hear the chant even louder or a collective sigh. You would think you were at Madison Square Garden with how much the fans were behind a visiting player. The loudest cheers though came at the end of the second quarter when Rasheed threw up a prayer right before the buzzer that went nothing but net with Lavoy Allen in his face. Don’t forget to watch the video of J.R. Smith throwing down a nasty dunk against the Sixers. addthis_url = 'http%3A%2F%2Fmysportsrumors.com%2Fblog%2F2012%2F11%2F05%2Fvideo-rasheed-wallace-buzzer-beater%2F'; addthis_title = 'VIDEO%3A+Rasheed+Wallace+buzzer+beater'; addthis_pub = '';

When the New York Knicks signed 38-year-old Rasheed Wallace this offseason, it didn’t appear that he would have much of an impact on the team. After all, Wallace had been retired for the last two seasons, and adding another aging big man to a roster full of elder citizens was not expected to help New York better itself.
However, the Knicks have started the season 3-0, and Wallace...
The Philadelphia 76ers were embarrassed by the New York Knicks — on consecutive nights — but it was Rasheed Wallace who had one of the, if not THE, top play of the game when he hit a buzzer beater to end the third quarter. The Knicks defeated the Sixers 100-88 and Wallace ended with 10 [...]The post Rasheed Wallace’s Buzzer Beater vs Philadelphia 76ers (Video) appeared first...

Wallace finished the night with 10 points and three rebounds while Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks in scoring with 21 points.

Here at Menudo Bol, we love Rasheed Wallace and now it seems so does MSG.
Must feel great for Wallace to hear the chants calling for his check in on the court. And in classic Sheed fashion, he drills a 3.
Welcome back Sheed.
There is no question that the New York Knicks J.R. Smith is one of the best athletes and high risers in the NBA. Last night he had that skill on display. Check out his monster dunk against the 76ers. The Knicks are 3-0 on the season.

After dismantling the world Chump Heat... the make up of this Knick team will not be taking nights off as they have done under past coaches. The depth of this team is plain out scary. Philly has no chance of even making this game competitive. The quality of our bench will keep each starter on their toes.. every night. Rasheed Wallace has been the most overlooked piece of our roster...
We caught up with Mount Carmel's Enoch Smith Jr. and Simeon's Reggie Spearman following second round action in the IHSA State Playoffs this weekend.
The Knicks defeated the Heat in their home opening in front of the nation's eyes. After beating the 76ers for their second straight win, (and the first game of a home & home series with Philadelphia), fans may have expected the opposing team to come out with a bit more fire as the 76ers looked for revenge on Monday night.Impressively enough, the Knicks kept the division-rival...
