It was only eight years ago that Metta World Peace helped to escalate one of the darkest days in NBA history, when he went into the stands after a fan who threw a beverage. It seemed like the entire Palace of Auburn hills, home of the Detroit Pistons, became involved in the incident. The player formerly known as Ron Artest has attempted to fix his image since then, but still has his moments of cheap shots. Just ask James Harden. Or, go to the footage of yesterday’s game against he Pistons, and the gut shot Brandon Knight took from Metta.
