After the Miami Heat captured the 2012 NBA title, guard Dwyane Wade underwent surgery to repair his left knee which had been ailing him for most of the past season. And once the surgery was over, Wade immediately went into rehab to get ready to defend the Heat's crown. But that was then, this is now. Wade gave an update on his rehab progress and many Heat fans will be happy to know, he is on schedule and is hoping to be in action by opening night versus the Boston Celtics. "I feel good. Rehab is going very well," Wade told The Associated Press. "I'm happy with it. I'm more encouraged than I was, obviously, when I knew I had to get surgery. So I'm happy." "But I should be able to go. It just depends on how much they feel like they want me to work. But I should be ready when the season starts." The last thing the Heat and Wade want to do is rush him back from rehab. A fully-recovered, raring to go Wade with a strong knee is best fo...

Fan tweets pic of 'autographed' Wade kicks, just one problem...

There's nothing like getting your hands on your favorite NBA player's autograph. We've all been there. Waiting on the stands, yelling his name out, pen in hand, just hoping he will stop by sign whatever you got and your day is made. But going that route at least allows you to feel secure you have that player's autograph and don't have to worry if you are...

Dwyane Wade says he looked at what LeBron James did for USA Basketball this summer and marveled. Wade was a spectator instead of a teammate when the U.S. won its second straight Olympic gold medal. Ray Allen’s Role With the Miami Heat

When Ray Allen signed with the Miami Heat during free agency this summer it presented a few questions with the biggest one being if he was upset with his reduced role in Boston, why sign for less for a similar reduced role in Miami? As a sidenote, we all know the real answer to [...]

Picture: Miami Heat’s Joel Anthony “Grinding” in Barbados

Just because it’s the off-season doesn’t mean NBA players can just party every night, nap all day, and freak with their ladies in between all of that. They work HELLA HARD in the off-season. Take Joel Anthony of the Miami Heat for instance while he is in Barbados: Hey, it requires an immense amount [...]

LeBron James clutch? What will the future hold?

“If you ask LeBron James for a dollar in quarters, he will only give you the first 3 quarters.” This was the “joke” put on LeBron’s lack of a “clutch gene” throughout his first 8 years in the league. These 8 years were riddled with great moments like him scoring the last 25 points (29 of the last 30) for the Cavs in a Game 5 of the 2007 Eastern Conference Finals...

The devil we know has been displaced by a devil we know even better. When LeBron James and Chris Bosh joined Dwyane Wade on the Miami Heat, almost everybody hated the idea of it. Players were determining the terms of their employment, announcing their decisions on cable television and holding championship celebrations before a regular season game had even been played. James, Bosh...
