MIAMI Miami guard Dwayne Wade didnt want to talk much Monday about a sprained right ankle that shelved him for one game. But he did say it wont cost him two games. Ill be ready to go, Wade said of Tuesdays home game against the Celtics. Heat coach Erik Spoelstra had said before Sundays 98-75 win over Detroit that it came down to not long before the game that it was determined not to play Wade. Spoelstra then used the extra minutes to get a longer look at wing players James Jones, Mike Miller and Terrel Harris in order to help get his rotation ready for the playoffs. Just with the training staff and take another game to get better, Wade said of the decision that went into his sitting out Sunday. Wade said he hurt his ankle on one of his two missed dunks in last Fridays 97-80 loss to Memphis. But he didnt want to talk much about it. One of the plays, Wade said. Just landed funny .... I dont want to talk about my injuries. Im playing (Tuesday), and thats all I care about and am concerned about. Speaking Monday before Wade did, Spoelstra wouldn't say whether Wade would play Tuesday. He said his injury will be evaluated daily. Sunday marked the second game out of the past four Wade had missed. He sat out an April 3 game against Philadelphia due to a sore knee. While a specific injury has been cited for each recent game Wade has sat out, Spoelstra hasnt denied that getting some rest for the 30-year-old during this compact 66-game season can be an added benefit. Wade has missed 11 games this season. Surprising, the Heat have gone 10-1. Chris Tomasson can be reached at christomasson@hotmail.com or on Twitter @christomasson
