John Wall believes that he and Bradley Beal form one of the best backcourts in the NBA -- when healthy.
“I feel if both of us stay healthy, we’ll be top-five, top-six best back courts in the league,” Wall said. “Him as a young player, he’s very mature. He knows how the game goes. He’s just like me, a competitive person.”
The Wizards went 16-9 in games with both Beal and Wall in the lineup and 13-44 without one of them on the floor last season.
Wall and Beal both believe they will be 100 percent healthy for training camp.
BEST OF MAXIM
One of the newest memes to hit the Internet hard is a series of videos called “Cousin Terio” which shows boy doing some rather impressive dance moves.
As you might figure, Washington Wizards guard John Wall saw the clip and decided to do his own version:
Washington Wizards former first overall draft pick John Wall is giddy to be signing a “max” contract extension. You would be too knowing that a three-year career of averaging 16.9 points, eight assists and 3.7 turnovers per game could land you a five-year, $80 million deal.
Wall displayed his giddyness by busting a move on a sidewalk while his buddy recorded him. Wall, probably...
Cousin Terio has become a Vine sensation. Wait, you aren’t up on Terio yet? Terio is a young kid whose older cousin, Maleek introduced him to the world as both his camera guy and hype man, making amazing use of his Vine by sharing Terio’s fly dance moves with the world.
Washington Wizards star John Wall decided to bust out his own Terio moves for Instagram this weekend.
John Wall placed a star-spangled baseball cap on his head clutched his Team USA backpack and quietly walked through a tunnel at Thomas & Mack Center and into the Las Vegas sunset.
His second USA Basketball audition had just ended and Wall was headed to Los Angeles where he had scheduled a workout and a discussion with his agent Dan Fegan about a contract extension with the Washington...
Surprisingly, the simple answer for me is “not yet”. As good as John Wall was at Kentucky, earning the #1 NBA Draft pick, and becoming the franchise player for the Washington Wizards, those merits alone do not help him earn a maximum NBA contract. The Washington Wizards are still whispering a 5-year, $80 million offer for Wall, and that’s because they have to. It’s a simple...
During his four-day stint serving mostly as an attentive and enthusiastic spectator at Team USA basketball minicamp Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal was reminded of one of his early encounters with Mike Krzyzewski the coach of the U.S. men’s national team.
Krzyzewski the legendary Duke coach recruited Beal out of high school traveling to St. Louis and attracting a large crowd...
Stiletto Jill was on the red carpet for the Body by ESPN pre-Espys party at Lure in Hollywood. Jill caught up with Wizards point guard John Wall, Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried, Seattle Seahawks Richard Sherman and WNBA and Chicago Sky star Swin Cash to ask, what did their “boo” think about them getting naked for ESPN. Or in Richard Sherman’s case, would he strip down to tease...
