Former NBA player and college basketball star at Miami University, Wally Szczerbiak has had an extremely successful career. Szczerbiak played his #10 seeded Redhawks to the sweet 16 in 1999 and played for 10 years in the NBA for the Timberwolves, Celtics, Cavaliers, and Sonics.
Apparently since leaving the NBA ranks, Szczerbiak has tried his hand at college basketball analysis for CBS. I came across this from Fox Sports 1350 in Akron, OH and have to admit... this is both hilarious and sad!
As I mentioned, Wally stopped by the CBS studios not too long ago to help out with their analysis and they repaid the favor by describing him as "Random Dude" on the on-screen caption that you so often see below the person who is speaking. You know, where the person's name is supposed to be!
Look, I know Szczerbiak isn't the easiest name to spell, but you would think that CBS would have the budget in place to hire someone who can google his name and put it up on the graphic. But no, they were too lazy and just went with "Random Dude"!
