It’s been “Celebrity Week” on The Price is Right. Among the celebrities who have appeared or will appear this week include Sharon Osbourne, Demi Lovato, Drew and Nick Lachey. But for the purposes of sports blogs — which is what this site aspires to be on its best days — the best celebrity the long-running daytime talk show once hosted by Bob Barker and now hosted by the capable Drew Carey is one Charles Barkley, whose appearance will air on Thursday, Feb. 21. Once Barkley — who reportedly said  it had been a lifelong dream to play The Price Is Right –  joins Carey on stage after the traditional order of “Come on Down!”, Sir Charles bids on a variety of items, all tangentially related to him. First up, Barkley had to bid on a “vintage DVD” of Look Who’s Talking Now, a film in which Barkley made a cameo. Next up, a pair of Air Max Barkleys, followed by a bid on a little black dress and size 15 heels, an outfit made famous in one of Barkley’s Weight Watchers commercials. Up next, Barkley bids on a vintage trading card featuring Barkley’s TNT’s Inside the NBA colleague, Kenny Smith. And finally, he has to bid on a 2013 Cadillac Escalade Platinum. How does he fare? The video follows below. Well done, Sir Charles. In total, the celebrities reportedly raised over $300,000 for charities, with Barkley raising funds for The Mustard Seed School. At least he didn’t have to take part in that putting game. You know, for obvious reasons. TweetThe post Want to see Charles Barkley ‘Come on Down’ on ‘The Price is Right’?
