Stephen Curry had 31 points and eight assists, David Lee added 20 points and 15 rebounds and the Golden State Warriors grinded out a 105-97 victory over the struggling Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night. Jarrett Jack finished with 19 points and five assists off the bench and hit some big shots late to make sure the Warriors avoided a monumental setback. They improved to 4-2 on their season-high, seven-game homestand, which ends Friday against Chicago, and remained 1 1/2 games ahead of Houston for sixth place in the Western Conference. Rodney Stuckey scored 22 points and Kyle Singler had 16 in Detroit's seventh straight loss. Reserve Will Bynum added 16 points to help fill the void left by Brandon Knight, who sat out with a sprained left ankle. A seemingly one-sided matchup hardly looked like it for most of the night. After crushing the New York Knicks 92-63 on Monday, Golden State's co-captains carried the Warriors on a night the team often looked lethargic and uninteres...

Pistons-Warriors Preview

The Golden State Warriors appeared to be fading at the wrong time as they seek their first playoff appearance in six years. But if their last game is any indication, they haven't completely lost the edge that made them look like a serious contender in the Western Conference for most of the season. Wednesday night's matchup with visiting Detroit seems to set up favorably...

Warriors rout Anthony, Knicks

Stephen Curry scored 26 points, David Lee had 21 and the Golden State Warriors routed the New York Knicks 92-63 on Monday night for their most lopsided win of the season. Almost two weeks after his 54-point masterpiece at Madison Square Garden, Curry shared the spotlight with his co-captain in front of a sellout crowd announced at 19,596. He was 4 for 7 from 3-point range, and Lee...

Knicks Sleepwalk Through Loss To Warriors in Disappointing Fashion

Without Carmelo Anthony nor Amar'e Stoudemire healthy enough to hit the hardwood for them, the Knicks still managed to win their fair share of ball games last week, despite not exactly having sufficient go-to options on offense.J.R. Smith may represent a dominant scorer or sorts, but the fact remained that the Knicks would have to rely upon a more balanced effort if they truly...

The Knicks Retiring From The NBA, To Join Fleetwood Mac

I had the unfortunate pleasure (displeasure?) of watching the Knicks get pa-rumped by the Warriors last night 92 to 63.  It was disturbing, almost laughably so.  Kinda like The Wicker Man.  Not the bees!  If only the Warriors were women in bear suits.  Sheesh get Stevie Nicks out there.  With her current body type, she could probably box out Kurt Thomas.  Fun fact: they’re...
