"One of the positives we can really bring out of this is to come together as a team," David Lee said. "That's as important, in my opinion, as what we do on the court in this preseason. Because we saw it last year. We made the final four in the West and we didn't have one of the top four rosters in the West, talent-wise. "Any time you can experience that," Mark Jackson said, "see how someone else does things, how they live, it's a learning tool. It's a great experience for us. I value it."

Harrison Barnes started 81 games as a rookie for the Warriors last season and his explosiveness and athleticism on both ends of the floor were among the reasons the team exceeded expectations by getting to the second round of the playoffs.
Health has been an ongoing concern in Golden State in recent years so with Barnes experiencing problems with his left foot so early in the exhibition...

The Golden State Warriors hopped a flight to China on Friday to begin a week that will cover 15 times zones and more than 12,000 miles.
''A lot of coffee, caffeine and sleeping pills,'' center Andrew Bogut said.
The trip, part of the NBA's Global Games, will feature two games against the Los Angeles Lakers. It's also a break from the monotony of training...
As you can see, fourth-year Power Forward Derrick Favors is definitely ready to start at the NBA level. It’s only a preseason game, of course, so nothing in this game really matters that much. That said, the Utah Jazz defeated the Golden State Warriors 101-78 on Tuesday. Even though preseason wins are not especially predictive of the outcomes of the NBA season, it is worth noting...
