Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is the latest NBA star to receive the documentary treatment.
According to Patrick Hipes of Deadline, A24 has green-lit "Underrated," a documentary about Curry's rise to fame at Davidson College. Ryan Coogler and Pete Nicks will produce the project for Proximity Media with Curry and Erick Peyton for Unanimous Media.
Curry spent three seasons at Davidson, leading the Wildcats to the Elite Eight of the 2008 NCAA Tournament, where they fell to Kansas. He remains the college's all-time leading scorer with 2,635 points in 104 games.
Davidson honored the 33-year-old in 2017 by renaming the student section at Belk Arena "Section 30" for his jersey number.
The Warriors selected Curry seventh overall in the 2009 draft. He became a star for Golden State after overcoming some early-career injury issues, leading the club to three NBA titles in 2015, 2017 and 2018.
Curry is also a seven-time All-Star, two-time scoring champion and two-time MVP, among other achievements. He recently signed a four-year, $215 million extension with the Warriors, making it more likely he'll retire with the franchise.
