Pass The Pill:
Norris Cole had a huge dunk midway through the fourth quarter of Game 5
Norris Cole who is listed at 6’2 (if you believe that) threw down a huge dunk that gave the Miami Heat the lead with a little over five minutes to go in the fourth quarter of Game 5. The dunk ignited the Heat as the eliminated the gritty Chicago Bulls and now advance to the Eastern Conference finals for the third straight year.
Cole played well in this series against the Bulls, usually drawing the assignment of chasing around the explosive Nate Robinson. His defense was key and when he’s hitting jump shots or throwing down big dunks, it makes the Heat that much scarier.

If you looked at the 2011-12 and 2012-13 NBA seasons in a vacuum, you’d swear on your life that LeBron James was the greatest basketball player and leader the game has seen since the days of Michael Jordan and the Miami Heat the most formidable collection of talent since the dynastic teams of the 1970s [...]The post The Reorganization Of The Miami Heat’s Big 3 appeared first...
MIAMI Chris Bosh is used to being at least somewhat under the radar with the Miami Heat.
Actually, he doesnt mind that.
When Sports Illustrated came out with its Fortunate 50, a list of America's highest-paid athletes, Heat stars LeBron James (second) and Dwyane Wade (11th) obviously were on the list. But so was Bosh, who came in at No. 47.
He wasnt thrilled about that.

I remember when Miami Heat’s Chris Andersen was on the Denver Nuggets, one could find a myriad of “Baby Birdmans” strewn about the Pepsi Center; even my own child was – and still is – obsessed with the colorful character. LeBron James’ tendency to act on the court during situations of contact was heavily debated over the past week.
James was shoved by Bulls backup center Nazr Mohammed during Game 3 of the Miami Heat-Chicago series and seemed to sell how forcefully he was pushed. Nate Robinson and Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said they felt James flopped on the play. After being scrutinized, James responded...
There was some question as to whether Dwyane Wade would suit up on Wednesday. With the Heat holding a controlling advantage over the Bulls in their best-of-seven series, the All-Star guard could have sat out Game 5 to rest his sore knee and fallout from his absence may have been negligible.
Still, there was no way Wade could miss this one. He may have been hurting. It may be a little...
But he should probably take the butcher’s word for it…

At Marquette University, Dwyane Wade is a God. He’s thunder and lightning and pyrotechnics rolled into one transcendent badass. He’s the freaking Golden Eagle pope, the incomparable ambassador of all things MU basketball, and when he takes a crap, it smells like Dove soap and winning.
I know this because I went to Marquette.
One of the first things I did as a freshman back...
