Watch: Top 2024 recruit Cooper Flagg forces overtime with heroic shot

Top 2024 recruit Cooper Flagg continued his incredible summer on Saturday at the famed Rucker Park, where he hit a buzzer-beating three at the end of regulation to force overtime in the SLAM Summer Classic as he helped lead Team Ian over Team Dylan.

Flagg ended with 25 points as Team Ian beat Team Dylan, 160-151. The 6-foot-8 forward from Maine wowed the crowd in Harlem with countless thunderous dunks before his incredible buzzer-beater.

North Carolina commit Ian Jackson was the game's MVP. The 6-foot-5 Bronx native showed out in front of a home crowd, pouring in a game-high 45 points.

Earlier in the summer, Flagg led underdogs Maine United to a surprising 16u title at the Nike EYBL Peach Jam. He put up an eye-popping stat line that catapulted him into the national spotlight, averaging 25.4 points, 13.0 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 6.8 blocks, including multiple points-rebounds-blocks triple-doubles.

Flagg's combination of size, athleticism, shooting, and defensive instincts make him one of the most intriguing prospects in recent memory.

Originally a member of the class of 2025, Flagg made the decision to reclassify, going into college a year early and making himself eligible for the 2025 NBA Draft.

247Sports currently has a "crystal ball" prediction of Flagg committing to Duke, but he has not made any final decision on where he will attend college after his upcoming senior year of high school at Montverde Academy in Florida. He currently has 16 Division 1 offers.
