They are part of the elite and always have been. They are the Los Angeles Lakers girls. Other than the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders this is one of the finest cheering programs in all of professional sports.
And while I still think that other squads have caught up to and/or exceeded some of these ladies that doesn’t mean I’m not fully impressed and wowed by the ladies of Los Angeles.
They are a spirited bunch and let’s not forget to mention extremely beautiful. Pics after the jump….

It’s official, the Los Angeles Lakers will retire Shaquille O’Neal’s No. 34 jersey next season.
