If you haven't heard about Jeremy Lin by now, where the hell have you been? It all started just a few days ago when the former Harvard point guard came off the bench to score 25 points for the New York Knicks. After that, he earned himself a starting job last night, leading NY to a victory over the Charlotte Bobcats.
Lin? Oh, it was Linsanity, as the sophomore point guard scored 28 points and eight assists. This guy is truly fun to watch and makes me proud to be an Asian (Indian if you wanna be more technical). I mean, you don't see Asian ballers these days, and seeing a guy like Lin is just great and I think he can be the next great sensation since Yao Ming.
And he hasn't stopped. The Knicks have finally found what they have been looking for: a point guard. And just to think: once Carmelo gets healthy, Amare starts picking his game up, and Baron Davis comes back; this team looks like it could definitely be heading somewhere this season after a shaky start.
But can this Linsanity go on? I mean, it's only been here for a few days and it's only been two games for him. So far, it's been to a good start and I think he can only just improve upon this. I bet the Golden State Warriors wished they kept him. I remember Lin in Harvard. He was a guy to watch and was signed by GSW after going undrafted. Looks like they're missing out on the Linsanity.
Welcome to The Jeremy Lin Show folks!
