USA Sports 360:
One of the biggest problems the Los Angeles Lakers have faced this season is Kobe Bryant’s mouth. It started with his criticism of former coach Mike Brown then it transferred to his teammates after the Lakers fired the head coach. It is becoming clear, that Dwight Howard made a bad move going to the Lakers. Obviously there is only room for one alter ego in Los Angeles and Kobe has held that down since the days of having Shaq as a teammate. You can see by the past history Kobe has to be out in front, if another player steals any of Bryant’s spot light things tend to get ugly. Since Howard’s arrival in L.A., Bryant must have felt threatened. The guys mouth has ran non-stop and the Lakers haven’t played the way the Lakers are capable of playing because the team is separated. Now that Bryant has pulled Howard into his little circle of criticism, he still wasn’t happy. He had to keep it up until Howard’s father got pissed off. Dwight Howard had this to say, Howard Sr. told the Atlanta Journal Constitution he was disappointed with the way Bryant publicly criticized his son, and that D’Antoni didn’t do anything to curtail it. Who can blame the elder Howard? What could D’Antoni do to shut up Kobe? If D’Antoni stepped in and tried to stop Bryant form running his mouth I am sure he would have already been fired. Lets not forget who’s team the Lakers really are. It is Kobe’s team and it will remain Kobe’s team until the day he calls it quits. No one has ever stood up to Kobe Bryant in the Lakers organization and remained a Laker for long. If Kobe was the man he thinks he is he would have been able to pull the team closer together and not dividing it. This thing between Howard and Bryant is never going to work out as long as Bryant can’t get over himself. Kobe needs to shut his mouth and keep it closed and do what he is suppose to do. Play basketball. Stop criticizing his teammates publicly and pull the Lakers back together as a unit. Kobe needs to realize he is just paid help and once his career is over the Lakers could be better off. Right now his is destroying the dynasty.

Kobe Bryant clearly hasn’t always been the most politically correct athlete.
Although Bryant will go down in history as one of the best basketball players ever to lace ‘em up, his resume as a role model is questionable. Back in April of 2011, Bryant was caught on camera calling a referee by a homophobic slur. Them, of course there was that whole alleged rape, cheating on his...
Nearly two years ago, Kobe Bryant was fined $100,000 by the NBA for using a derogatory term for homosexuals when he became upset after receiving a technical foul. Kobe apologized after the incident and insisted his comment was not meant to offend the gay or lesbian community, and has since acknowledged that the outburst was inappropriate.
On Sunday, Kobe took a stand against a Twitter...
NOT BUYING IT
Kobe Bryant has racked up a ton of assists over the last few games, but LeBron James said Kobe is a scorer and he doesn't expect it to last.
Kobe Bryant shrugged off a scoreless first half to finish with 20 points, eight assists and seven rebounds Friday night as the Los Angeles Lakers overcame a 20-point second-half deficit and beat the Charlotte Bobcats, 100-93.
The Lakers avoided a costly defeat to the NBA's worst team and pulled within three games of .500.
Bryant attempted only two shots in the first half and...
MIAMI -- The dust certainly didn't settle after the Lakers eked out a win against the lowly Charlotte Bobcats, not when Dwight Howard's father injected himself into his son's awkward relationship with Kobe Bryant.
The elder Howard said his son needed to sit down with Bryant to hash out their differences. He also said Coach Mike D'Antoni wasn't being assertive...
MIAMI A new Kobe Bryant supposedly has emerged in recent weeks for the Los Angeles Lakers. But not for LeBron James.
He believes hes the same old Kobe.
James, the Miami Heat star, couldn't care less that the Lakers star recently had a run of 39 assists in three games and 56 over five. Hes doesnt buy that Bryant all of a sudden has become a facilitator.
Do I buy that? No,...
The Los Angeles Lakers have had their fair share of issues this season. While their injuries and inconsistent play have led to a multitude of questions about the team that have largely gone unanswered, it seems an unlikely source – Dwight Howard‘s father — has at least one answer to their latest controversy.
After Kobe Bryant demanded some urgency from his injured teammate...
STANDS BY HIS WORDS
Lakers star Kobe Bryant defended his comments that some interpreted as critical about teammate Dwight Howard, saying it's all a "manufactured conflict."
We see great shots all the time from LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, Carmelo Anthony--the stars of the NBA. We see some crazy trick shots from the Harlem Globetrotters and the guys from Dude Perfect.
How often do we see them from a high school girl's game though?
Anna Olson from Lewis-Palmer High School in Coloroda heaved this one up. It's almost...
